thurlesblues sounds like serious sour grapes, Dunne lost the head and let his team down, best team always wins

No Greengael its not sour grapes nothing to do with Dunne sure he lost his head but wed have won with 14 men except for that penalty decision. Surely you dont think that was a penalty everyone knows it was a free out even kk will admit that!

This is hilarious! Firstly I respect every single county hurler, everyone who trains, whether its playing with Finglas, Westmeath, Kerry or Kilkenny, but this group of players Kilkenny have, have opened a gap and created an aura of unbeatable - ness. Now I am not saying that we will not be beaten or can't be beaten, but we have not been beaten in 20 championship games. I believe that if Tipp had of beaten us in the League final then they may have beaten us in the all Ireland. The referee gave a few dodgy decisions, but I truly believe that these decisions even themselves out over a season. Kilkenny got exactly what they should have last week against us in terms of cards. Tommy Walsh broke the hurl over a player's leg. If the hurl had not been broken is this still a red card?? If you say yes we will finish under 14 games 8 vs. 8. If not then he may start using a thicker hurl. (Tony Óg Regan broke a hurl over Eoin Larkin's thigh and hip on Sunday last in an attempt to block him. No Free.
The helmet pulling goes on all the time, the Rock even got caught in a season of Sunday's picture book a few years back, I have it in the conservatory, and was looking at it a few weeks back. 6 Kilkenny players had to get new helmets in a League match this year because the straps were being pulled. Richie Powers's helmet was broken in a challenge game after the vent on the top was pulled open. It happens all the time, is that an excuse to pull on a lad's head? It may be a problem that you reckon Benny Dunne is a hero for pulling on a lad. That might be why Tipp have failed yet again.

I'm not trying to be a cocky or over confident or a WUM, but I genuinely can't see anyone beating us this year. Galway might be just playing a red herring and are looking to get back in under the radar. Tipp, were never gonna be the one to beat us after failing so badly last year. Cork I think might be just a year too old and Waterford might be two years past.

Ha ha Thurles Blues, Keep looking to the past it seems to be what your fellow county players do well. What happened in 1964 doesn't matter to what might happen in 2010. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but for you to see me in September, you might be in Kilkenny city at the victors homecoming.

Liam Dunne was completely victimised for years by referees and only once in his 3 sendings off in a row did he deserve to be sent off (for his tackle on Gorta). Tommy Walsh is getting away with this for too long. I cant wait for a referee to wake up to this and see what he is doing.
I respect this Kilkenny team for what they are and will be in a few weeks - immortal - as well as respecting Tommy Walsh for being a great hurler, but he threw a hurl at Gizzy when he was through on goal a few years ago, got away with it, last sunday was sawing again and got away with it. Getting very annoyed at referees turning such a blind eye to blatant dirty play.

Hi kkid will ye have diarmuid kirwan as ref again this year he loves giving penalties instead of frees out for overcarrying I think twas 22 points we beat bye in 64 or something like that anyway ye are a brilliant team in fact kilkenny are so good that all the experts are trying to compare them to the tipp team of the 60s the greatest team of all time /.I would give kilkenny a chance for 45 mins against that tipp team that hog good kk are.

As I said this is a brilliant Kilkenny team they are nearly as good as the great Tipp team of the 60s with Jimmy Doyle and hells kitchen. Now that was the greatest team of all time!
