First half was great. patrique (Antrim) - Posts: 13709 - 19/06/2010 20:21:30 681804 Link 0 |
Down pretty bad then? Marty Clarke was not good at all, typical management from Down taking Poland off. Scoring two points in 50 minutes is shocking. Atticalllegends (Down) - Posts: 96 - 19/06/2010 20:25:50 681808 Link 0 |
Tyrone can turn it on and turn it off at will. Never a doubt in this game, even if Down had have got the goal at the end we would still have won. Very comfortatable, and also like to see the monstermen getting worried about Tyrone's resurgence.Be headin south soon to see yez. fupball (Tyrone) - Posts: 48 - 19/06/2010 20:26:49 681810 Link 0 |
No wonder this board is hemmoraging quality and informed posters when I read some of the cack comments on this thread, I honestly despair at times. Any way, well done the Red hands, you did what you had to do, job done. brendtheredhand (Tyrone) - Posts: 10897 - 19/06/2010 20:30:55 681813 Link 0 |

tyrone made heavy weather of beating a poor down side.a decent freetaker might have made all the difference.i thought brian mcguigan looked fitter than i have seen him in long while.if oneill is not fit then he might start the next day.m. penrose was all over the field.is he the new brian dooher? jimcouch (Galway) - Posts: 47 - 19/06/2010 20:45:00 681835 Link 0 |

First half was very good and both teams deserve credit for the attacking football played. The second half was awful but it's hard to blame Tyrone solely for that. Down still had enough chances to have won the game but didn't take them , Tyrone took theirs and that's what it's all about. Martin Penrose was exellent today I thought. dubupnorth (Dublin) - Posts: 1897 - 19/06/2010 20:56:34 681845 Link 0 |
