David Kelly has been the most impressive corner forward this year...

Seanie Johnstone lifted the whole team when he came on saturday, never seen any thing like it!

Kelly has been class so far, improved on last years performances. Could be good for All star depending on hw far Sligo progress.

People on here are far to biased with players from there own county.

It can be hard to evalute someone who plays from one of the weaker counites, i'd like to see how well Seanie Johnston would do if he played for Kerry instead of the Gooch, I believe he has more ability than the Gooch.

After yesterday I think that Joyce showed he still deserves to be included in this list. Class act through and through.

Thought he deserves MOTM ahead of Kelly, without him there wouldn't have been any comeback

You could'nt leave Conor Mc Manus off the list,,going on the form of all the countries forwards this past two months,,,definitely in the top two or three in the country, along with David Kelly

the gooch is still 1 of the best in the country. i dont know how anyone cant see that. id put matty ford in there aswell. back to full fitness and the man would get into any team. another man worthy of a mention at the mo is brian white for louth. looks a top player so far. looking forward to the leinster final

10.Michael Meehan
11.Declan O' Sullivan
12.Sean Cavanagh
13.Stephen O'Neill
14.Kieran Donaghy
15.Colm Cooper
In my opinion, i think thats the strongest foward line in the country

-Not a bad selection, but I'd have Bernard Brogan in there ahead of Stephen O'Neill. O'Neill is not as good as he was (though still pretty good of course). Persistent injuries haven't helped.

David Kelly has been greatly impressive also, he is so quick on the turn and must be a nightmare to mark.

it depends if we're going on form at the minute or wat has been shown over the last few years.
on form it is:
cian ward, david kelly, jamie clarke, paul finlay, conor mcmanus, martin penrose, lennon from louth,

however if there's more history in it and talking about players you expect to make a mark and players i'd want in my team it's:
sean cavanagh, gooch, meehan, stevie mcdonnell, tommy freeman, alan brogan, declan o'sullivan, steven o'neill

Few Meath names mentioned on this thread, Ward, Sheridan, O'Rourke and Bray. For what its worth, I'd consider Bray easily the best of that lot. Loads of natural born ability. But funnily enough, the best forward in County Meath has not been mentioned on this thread and I say that with the greatest sincerity. And anyone with an interest in Meath club football will immediately know who I'm talking about.

You must be having a laugh having brogan ahead off stevie , look bernard has not proven anything yet.
