Love watching Down play football, can't defend for love nor money, but have a great set of forwards,so i think this will be a very good game of football, would love to see a Down v Monaghan Ulster Final, but i think Tyrone will be a bit too cute for Down, they're tried&tested and more often than not,win the big games, plus Down have a habit of not performing on the big days, should break even in midfield, but i just give the nod to Tyrone cus their full-back line will probably cope that much better with Downs full forward line.

Tyrone supporters, what do u think of ur full back line? Justin Mc Will mark Dan, are Swift or Carlin up to marking Benny? If not will Gormley drop back? Is he fit enough to mark him & will that weaken the half back line?

Would not rule out a draw here.

Whoever marks Coulter will need to be fast and Conor Gormely might not have that type of pace. Swift/Carlin would but there a couple of other options on the bench which could be used if Benny creates the opportunity to express himself. Both forward lines will do damage given possession. There is nothing wrong with Downs defence given the way they were able to curtail Michael Murphy. So I think at Front and Back Tyrone/Down will balance out. The team that holds the sway in midfield will win. Its going to be very close.

Heading of for Casement Park NOW. I have a hunch that this is the end of a great Tyrone team and the start of a new force in Ulster. I wouldn't be surprised if Down won easily. However heres hoping for a close game

Looking forward to this one, it's a hard one to call imo. I usually bet on every game but cant decide this one but i have decided now to take a chance on Down for value.

I see youse last 7-8 posters hit the nail on the head. I bow to your superior knowledge of football. To paraphrase a Down man behind us yesterday, go on Tyrone "so you did".

691455 I expect Monaghan to beat Tyrone with some comfort.

Do I see a pattern emerging here?
