Oh i read what i posted alrite maybe you should of read it too but i can make it a bit easier for you to understand the second time around. At what point in the post did i make a prediction? I did´nt, i just made a summary on most of the other posts i read on this tread from Sligo and around the country including some from Mayo.

i get what your saying about the overconfidence of some of the bandwagon, most of them probably wrote mayo off altogether after the league final. i for one dont believe they are a dead cert for connacht and i know they will have two tough games ahead of them if they are to reach the final. i also dont think that they can beat they corks or kerrys in the championship this year but i dont think you should keep on about last years match because even if mayo win today setting up a clash with galway then what happened last years match will be irrelevent.

Typical Connacht football; non contact basketball, soft as putty with not one decent tackle put in. So far it has had all the anger and intensity of a game of draughts YAAAAAAAWWWWNNNNNN. There is a graveyard at one end of the ground, they are the lucky ones as they can't see this awful game. Nice background scenery though.

the problem with mayo is that they allways show their full hand in the league, they actually better football in feburary than in summer ,i really thought they had a chance this year with the possible demise of kerry and tyrone, i would now place meath kildare armagh down galway and dublin ahead in the pecking order. as well as the big three of course.

Sligo are in the wrong province. As they showed against us they are a decent footballing side who aren't afraid to mix it when they have to. Well done Sligo, showed Mayo up for what they are. Awful first half but best team won.
