tyrone actually play reasonably good football...think of the dublin games in 2005 and 2008, and the all ireland finals against kerry...but teams like armagh, fermanagh, westmeath over the last couple of years, donegal, antrim and the likes have turned football into a sport less attractive to watch than soccer (which is saying something) lazyfootballer (Wexford) - Posts: 70 - 02/06/2010 21:26:00 666134 Link 0 |

All the craic is on the other thread "Its everyone but ulsters fault" ;) I_agree (Mayo) - Posts: 58 - 02/06/2010 21:56:01 666190 Link 0 |
seriously, the ulster championship is the most entertaining of all because theres a bit of surprise in it,theres two teams in connacht leinster and munster , as i said before some people talk some bull farnabu85 (Monaghan) - Posts: 53 - 03/06/2010 13:39:27 666555 Link 0 |
farnabu85, saying there are only two teams in the other championships is rich. Tyrone and armagh are the only two teams who have won ulster in the last 11 years. patmcgee (Longford) - Posts: 520 - 03/06/2010 13:56:35 666594 Link 0 |

I just started a thread on micko there actually. In case you haven't noticed half of the threads on this site seem to be about ulster, some fella even developed a thread about the rte into an ulster debate, so dont single me out for being preoccupied by ulster, nearly everyone is. patmcgee (Longford) - Posts: 520 - 03/06/2010 14:43:09 666672 Link 0 |
I couldn't resist going back that extra year.... patmcgee (Longford) - Posts: 520 - 03/06/2010 14:44:44 666676 Link 0 |
im just trying to say there is a bit of excitement in ulster, the two main teams in connacht are obviously galway and mayo, leinster kildare and dublin, munster cork kerry, theres around 4 teams that could win ulster. farnabu85 (Monaghan) - Posts: 53 - 03/06/2010 18:05:36 666977 Link 0 |

Dell if theres an anti ulser/tyrone debate....you always refer to kerry nok02 (USA) - Posts: 534 - 03/06/2010 21:26:08 667114 Link 0 |
omaghredhand: this doesn't really matter but just out of interest how many times in those nine years were armagh and tyrone of the same side of the draw? patmcgee (Longford) - Posts: 520 - 03/06/2010 21:32:48 667124 Link 0 |

one link to one game?....That does not suffice to reason an explanation for a number of decades of supposedly negative football by Kerry. nok02 (USA) - Posts: 534 - 03/06/2010 21:58:58 667174 Link 0 |

Aye monaghan could have won the ulster final there a few years back. They have gone back since then if anything. patmcgee (Longford) - Posts: 520 - 04/06/2010 11:27:03 667318 Link 0 |
