I agree with your post TheMaster but if Mayo aren't winning Sam and neither are 31 other counties then who is, New York? :P JoeSoap (Donegal) - Posts: 1432 - 27/05/2010 21:33:17 660465 Link 0 |

If Mayo footballers were as good at playing football as some of their fans are at talking **** about how great they are, they would have at least 100 AI's won by now! tommy k (Galway) - Posts: 3470 - 28/05/2010 09:49:00 660544 Link 0 |
Put it this way, as a Tyrone supporter I would NOT like to be playing Mayo in the QF's onwards! brendtheredhand (Tyrone) - Posts: 10897 - 28/05/2010 10:36:36 660587 Link 0 |
They have a slightly better chance of winning the football than the hurling, thats all I can say!!!!! JGiles (Limerick) - Posts: 88 - 28/05/2010 12:44:39 660711 Link 0 |

tommy k, is there not one person in galway who talk galway up? This nonsense about mayo fans always talking mayo up is garbage. They do it no more than anyone else, and probably less than dublin and tyrone fans. TheMaster (Mayo) - Posts: 16187 - 28/05/2010 14:06:07 660831 Link 0 |
the only team in the world that talk more about them selfs is the england soccer team and they have no chance at all in the world cup, mayo are not good enough to win an all ireland this year, they wont be good enough next year or the year after, they just dont have the players, they wernt good enough in 89,96,97,04,06 get over it and stop talking ##### galwayfootball1 (Galway) - Posts: 252 - 29/05/2010 11:30:50 661359 Link 0 |

Well put Galwayfootball1. The ambush of Tyrone in 2004 was against a team decimated by injury and beleaguered by the loss of Cormac McAnallen. Of Mayo's few successes in Croke Park in recent years by far and way their best performance was against Dublin in the second half in 2006. But then again they were a playing a team even more lacking in steel, savvy and composure than themselves. In both those years their performances against Kerry in the final were pathetic, with both games effectively over in the first 10 minutes. You cannot win anything without bottle, and Mayo have had none for as long as I have been following the game, which is a while now. I don't think they have found this year either, but I would be only too delighted to be proven wrong. Meath1986 (Dublin) - Posts: 247 - 30/05/2010 12:02:29 661968 Link 0 |
mayo do have a chance although at the moment somewhat behind cork and kerry in the running, but ahead of dublin, armagh and tyrone mayotyroneman (Tyrone) - Posts: 1821 - 30/05/2010 12:16:02 661981 Link 0 |
Ahem I was right. Not good enough and bottlers of the highest order. I fully expect Kerry to dispatch Cork, if not tomorrow in the All Ireland at some point. Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9818 - 05/06/2010 18:37:36 668421 Link 0 |

Kerry I taught Freeman was impressive today in fact maybe mayo's only highlight! So maybe not starting O'Shea and trying Freeman instead was the only positive to come out of this for Mayo. tj09 (Cork) - Posts: 481 - 05/06/2010 19:22:16 668485 Link 0 |
