any views on jfc draw, looks like big teams avoided each other, you would expect bridge and kildallan to come through qual's, should be really good quater finals, shercock seemed to have got the handiest draw

Any news on the alleged 'spitting' incident - seemed to be pretty contentious but has gone quiet? Has Shercock taken any action or was any reference made in the referees report?

HOTEL KILMORE JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER Q/F
Cornafean v Mountnugent - This will be a very close incounter friday evening, both teams have a mix of young and old to call upon, i still tink there is a good performance from cornafean to come, and maybe friday evening will be it, cornafean by 4
Butlersbridge v Corlough - This game will be won and lost at midfield, corlough have the two hard workin kelleghers at midfield, the bridge have mulvey and his ball winning ability around the middle will be crucial, this should be enough to secure victory, bridge by 5
Kildallon v Maghera - This game will be a game for kildallan to get back on track after a wreckless second half display against powerade, kildallan forwards and midfield should be to strong for maghera , kildallan by 9

Cornafean v Mountnugent - Very Tight game, think reds might win by 1.
Butlersbridge v Corlough - Corlough have had an extra game so that should help them, bridge have better players but it depends on the team that turns up, bbridge greater strenght on the bench to be the difference, bridge by 3.
Kildallon v Maghera - Kildallon to get on winning ways especially if its a dry sod, kildallon by 7.

C'fein 2-09 M'nugent 2-11
B'bridge 1-12 C'lough 2-02
K'dallen 1-13 Maghera 1-07

I think the draw is
K'dallen v M'nugent (Winners v T'port in Q-F)
Losers above v B'bridge (Winners v S.Gaels in Q-F)

Dont know dates but imagine the next two qualifier rounds will be the next two weekends.

M.nugent should of beat cornafean by more, but at the same time were lucky not to be beaten. M.nugent up by 8points early in 2nd half and let it slip. Cor came back to within in 2points and hit the crossbar, m.nugent never looked back after this. M.nugent seem strong up the middle but suspect on the wings, especially at the back. Thats the second time ive seen them in the Champ, looked better against shercock even tho they were bet, a lot of changes on the m.nugent team doesnt seem to have helped them. If they tighten up there defence i can see them beating kildallon, but it will be close, a point r 2 either way...
