Anyone any predictions for the first round? wasp (Cavan) - Posts: 7 - 25/06/2008 11:28:37 37791 Link 0 |
I think there will be very little between the teams in the junior championship and some of the teams near the bottom of the league table could cause surprises. marita (None) - Posts: 469 - 25/06/2008 12:42:51 37875 Link 0 |
Templeport v Cornafean - Can see only one out come in this game, cornafean might fancy there chances with been a good championship team in the past, but not this time there a very poor team this year, also depends if kieran mc turns up, tport by 6 jackblack5 (Cavan) - Posts: 26 - 25/06/2008 17:02:00 38114 Link 0 |
Why would you guess Templeport? Dimitri (Cavan) - Posts: 64 - 25/06/2008 21:45:53 38197 Link 0 |
Re: Duignan for Killdallen. I hear he's back training?? If he's training now im sure he'll be getting his place in a few weeks. Very talented player, With him and Reilly Killdallen could prove formidable.. Jecht (Cavan) - Posts: 150 - 26/06/2008 02:05:43 38255 Link 0 |
Shercock are the annual fav's but they dont seem to be going as well this year, maybe they are going to concentrate on jfc. I think Drung should be head and shoulders above anybody else, this is the team who contested a number of IFC finals a few years back, they have a couple of big name players and have been playing football in div 2 for a long time, will be a good game with Bridge, id say bridge will come through back door and maybe get to semi or final. cavan4ever (Cavan) - Posts: 234 - 26/06/2008 09:52:47 38310 Link 0 |
Lads. ya can't over look last years beaten Finalists although the Geals aren't playing as good a football as they were this time last year they could do alot in the month and a win over Maghera could set them on there way again. joeyjojo (Cavan) - Posts: 85 - 26/06/2008 21:49:24 38864 Link 0 |

maghera could be good money at 50/1!!.. wasp (Cavan) - Posts: 7 - 18/07/2008 14:20:04 51275 Link 0 |
Thats a great price for the Bridge!! Templeport at 6/1 not a bad bet either. So anyone know what the Munchies are really made of?? Will the pressure drive them to success or make them fall at the first?? Killdallon usually can beat anyone in the first two rounds and then make a mess of the quarters.. Shercock always look good until they get to Breffni - as soon as they pass Tractamotors the nerves go I reckon. opa01 (Cavan) - Posts: 539 - 18/07/2008 15:45:35 51370 Link 0 |
Would I be right in saying that Shercock have beaten the eventual champions in the first round for the last two years in a row? Saw them against Drumgoon a couple of weeks ago and they were very impressive... Goonies were blessed to beat them with a lucky goal 3 minutes from the end when it was a drawn game CeltMan (Cavan) - Posts: 101 - 18/07/2008 16:07:43 51389 Link 0 |
I hear Kildallan are camera shy, no Powerade cameras V Munchies Dimitri (Cavan) - Posts: 64 - 20/07/2008 23:32:55 52198 Link 0 |
