He has a lot on his plate, with playing for ClannaGael intermediates, managing Na Fianna intermediate team, and now coaching Longford. Thats some serious commitment to the gaa

You think the Meath forwards need more coaching than the Longford forwards(no disrespect to the Longford forwards)? What gives you this idea?

Or maybe he wants to get a bit more experience before he goes to Meath.

14 months on this site and I still can't put up a link properly, shocking. It's a link of the goal he scored against Dublin in the 1994 Leinster final which got him trials with Arsenal.

Funnily enough, before Glen Ryan took over our forwards were never the problem. Paul Barden would get on any county team, his brother david is also a very useful forward. Brian kavanagh before he moved to kilmacud was a quality forward. Paddy dowd before his back injury another good forward and this year Francis mcgee has been scoring about 1-7 every match. Our problem has always been our full back line and midfield.

I cant really see what difference Graham Geraghty will make even though he was a serious player in his day.

Graham Geraghty had everything as a player and I'm sure all Longford footballers will look up to him and learn a lot from him.
