ye theres a few in that list that i dont think deserve to be onit at least at the minute such as aiden oshea , trevor mortimer and brian dooher . kieran donaghy and al brogan should be there maybe a few others such as coulter, johnston and mcnamee and possibly armstrong of galway good list though hard to get everyone in im also presuming thats a list of best players in the forwards not best scoring forwards i would say going into the championship bernard brogan and stevie mcdonnel are the two best forwards in the country at the moment both have had top notch leagues particularly mcdonnell

Sean cavanagh is considered a midfielder by alot of people in the other thread...so surely he can't be considered a foward here can he?!?!?

Largely agree with your selection PC Letterkenny, with the following amendments:

Out: Paul Kerrigan, John Doyle, Eoin Bradley, Ronan Clarke, Alan Dillon, Trevor Mortimer

In: Stephen O'Neill (would have him in my top five, not just a top 20)
Benny Coulter
Conor Mortimer (still a quality forward, despite not making Mayo's starting 15 last year in the champo)
Alan Brogan (similar to Conor Mort, a class act who always played to a high standard. Maybe not quite at that standard last year, but still one of the best)
Leighton Glynn
Colm O'Neill

Therefore, my 20 would be:

Michael Murphy
Martin Clarke
Paul Galvin
Michael Meehan
Aidan O Shea
Declan O Sullivan
Gooch Cooper
Bernard Brogan
Steven McDonnell
Sean Cavanagh
Brian Dooher
Pearse O Neill
Daniel Goulding
Paddy Bradley
Stephen O'Neill
Benny Coulter
Conor Mortimer
Alan Brogan
Leighton Glynn
Colm O'Neill

Oh yeah, can i add joe Sheridan on there as well as a 21st?! Have to agree with blueroyal, Sheridan is quality. Saw him in the League game versus Donegal last month and he stood out from the rest of the Meath panel.

Hard to pick at the moment because no one has had a chance to look at all forwards this year. But Tongo, for what it's worth you got rid of Eoin Bradley from your 20. He's had a decent League campaign and for the last 3 years with the exception of a rare individual performance ( the Monaghan match for example ) has been far superior to his brother Paddy. Eoin Bradley has the ability to be in the top 5 in the Country.
