Dhorse for a man with 5427 posts.. you dont set up very many threads at all.... I mean I class myself as a **** artist but you take the biscuit on here!

Start another thread,, for gods sake man thats all we need, how many threads start and finish on the same topic.

Once again... a strong argument... What else can I say!

618316 any soccer forums I have visited over the years have vicious threads on them about their hatred of the GAA. Guys who are soccer fans first and foremost usually have a negative view of the GAA, I have encountered this numerous times. On the other hand I find that GAA & rugby supporters generally have respect for soccer and those who support it. Putting up a soccer forum shows maturity from the hoganstand admin

Maturity???

Hoganstand is run by Lynn Publications, a commercial enterprise. They're not a GAA club, they're a publishing company that happens to have a GAA magazine as one of their popular publications. It just so happens that they're using the same web domain to host both a soccer and a GAA message board. If they had a related discussion board on ballet dancing or anything else, they'd co-host it on here if it made commercial sense.

I do wonder about some of the people on here sometimes

I know its for commercial reasons, where did I say it wasn't? My point was that its great to see that a soccer forum can be put up on a GAA website. I don't believe you could put up a GAA forum as easily on a soccer website.

Problem is, while we'll have soccer on our forum no prob (and rugby) their forum isn't big enough to host our forum. And that REALLY bugs me.

See Landsdowne Road.

Perhaps i'm flattering myself, but i assume this post was hurled at me, however ias I'm hard of understanding i can't make enough sense ouit of it warrant a reply. Maybe you might apply a bit of punctuation and i will respond in due course

"First we save the FAI's & IRFU's blushes by opening up Croke Park to the Irish Soccer and Rugby supporters... and now the number one GAA website in the country comes to the rescue of our soccer cousins once again and welcomes a soccer forum into the fold!"

Next thing you know the soccer supporters will be wanting to borrow a ball ;-)
