Sorry MacAontroim I think i do know what im talking about. Loughrey played in the half forward line for Queens over the past few years and when he was playing in the half back line last year for Antrim he loved to get forward. Hes not really a man marker in my opinion but a very good footballer nonetheless. Im a big fan of Antrim football and looking forward to seeing them making alot progress under Bradley this year.

P.S I dont think where im from has anything to do with this arguement.

I suppose you are right as this thread is called 'best man markers in the game'....oh wait, its not . I merely suggested that I had not seen his man score off him in the past 12 months, which I haven't. You suggested that he plays forwards which he did for Queens as O'Rourke was a seriously defensive manager. I can assure you however that he plays in defence for Antrim where incidently I have watched him over the past 12 months ie my statement, and when it comes to champioship I would be shocked if he didn't line out at 7. Awarded an Irish News All Star in DEFENCE, nominated for a GPA allstar in DEFENCE I am saying I think that he is one of the better DEFENDERS about. I am biased and may be wrong, but at least a few people agree with me. You slyly suggest he is a forward, so as to make a nonesnese out of what I say and I made an even slyer comment about where you come from having anything to do with what you now about football, we were both wrong.

Lacey, Canty, Lynch and John Keane are about the best around. Mentions to Sean Marty Lockhart in the last two decades I haven't rated Mark O'Se since Meehan took him to the cleaners at Croker a couple of seasons ago.
