City might make the top 4. They might also win the FA cup or Europa Cup (i would love to win that) but then again we are closing in on a United Record off going 37 years without winning a trophy.
You really are obsessed aren't you? It's hilarious!

I'm fully aware of inflation, but fractions obviously passed you by when you were in school.
You will discover that City have spent LESS than the other contenders, about one fifth of what say Spurs have spent. City have only been spending for one year, the others have been at it for a decade.
A fifth of £399million is approx £80million. Not £573million. Unless you're claiming that we've had inflation of over 600% in the last 10 years then your lies are as irrelevent as ever.

Here is a fact for you. People talk about buying success.
totenham beat Milan a short time ago and had 25 players in the party at the game.
ALL 25 were......bought.
i don't really care if they all cost £5 each, or 500,000000 million each, the price is not relevant.
Bought. All 25 of them.
Think about it and get back to me.

Spoof and try to misdirect all you want. The point of my first point remains unchanged, no matter how much you want to ignore it, or try to drown it in your ramblings.
You stated that City had spent about a fifth of what Spurs had spent. It was wrong. Admit it.

ah folks, go easy on him, Ye should all know that Spurs is a sore point for him, not because of the cowboy boots he wears going to the local to get a bit of notice, no, these Spurs are the ones who knocked Manchester City out of the Champions League 4th position last year. The same Spurs who will do the same on April 16th this year.
Now, back to what Pat said. He's saying that because Harry Redknapp has performed surgery on his side by wheeling dealing to get bargain players & mould them into a good side, that this is worse than Manchester City spending the vast riches they have on underperforming players.
Hmmm. So buying a lot of players of similar value and honest effort is worse than spending (for example) the transfer fees paid for Adebayor, Dzecko, Tevez etc? Someone told me Bodhran beating Pat was a socialist, I cannot see how hew is though?

598165 No surprise that city were beat last night. Re-placing Sparky has proven to be a mistake. Although some of his results were inconsistent he was doing a good job in trying to string a side of over paid stars and big egos together. His replacement is experiencing similar problems but I feel that they would have had a better shot at 4th if sparky stayed in charge....city are as low as 4/1 to win the league next year, laying that is like printing free money
As Liverpool have had such a dire season 4th place this year was a very attainable target. City should have bagged this prize. 4th is now spurs to lose. City and Liverpool look destined for the UEFA cup. Villa look to be blowing their chance too but are probably the most likely of the 3 to make a late charge.
Everton will be strong next year; if they can keep key players like Saha and Arteta fit next season then they will make more creditable title contenders than City or Liverpool. If these 2 don't pull up their socks Everton could well catch them this year.
Liverpool are away and the big four has receded into a big three.
Given Citys and Liverpools pre season aspirations it must be demoralizing to watch Fergie march towards an unprecedented 4th Premiership title in a row and a 3rd successive Final in the Champions league....
You should have said the earth was flat in that post.
You got EVERYTHING else wrong.

Qualifiyng for the Champions League still masks the fact that Manchester City are underachieving.

How so Slayer? Its a progressive step. Ya cant just come in and buy the league in a season or two. They still have som every ordinary players, like all teams.

Not a city or a United fan but thought this was quite funny:
City fans: tickets for the FA Cup final are being touted at £1,000 each.......... expensive but if you had saved just 60p a week for 35 years it would have been paid for!
