In terms of ability and natural football brain everyone is a distant second to Colm Cooper. ruanua (Donegal) - Posts: 4966 - 20/03/2010 19:59:13 593577 Link 0 |

And your view on the others? or do you consider Antrim football so bad that if you limit a player to a point that, that makes them bad also. ochonlir (Cavan) - Posts: 4343 - 20/03/2010 21:51:42 593703 Link 0 |

My favourite forward on his day is Bernard Brogan. Left foot, right foot, bang over the bar. Class act. Most under-rated forward is Paddy Cunningham of Antrim. Scruffy2Donut (Cavan) - Posts: 1112 - 21/03/2010 10:18:37 593762 Link 0 |

Stephen O'Neill is injury prone and yes he would be up there if he managed to stay consistently free of injuries but he hasn't and therefore should be ranked as good. Forde, Freeman, Brogan (both) all desere a mention. Alan is an exceptional player: quick, low centre of gravity and is equally accurate off both feet. Not too many players around that you can say that about. Gooch of course should be up there and in my view is still the best around. Joxer (Dublin) - Posts: 4749 - 21/03/2010 14:53:39 593913 Link 0 |
