Jon Smith,

I met Bob Dylan in Slane in 1984 while doing a nixer in the security field. I looked after him for the day. He was very friendly and very down to earth !!

And for Brendtheredhand I agree with you about Christy, and I used to be his minder when he played at Queen's loads of time between 1971 and 75. He then met me in a folk club in England in 1977 and asked me what part of SCOTLAND I was from!!!!I love Fianna Gaelers like Christy.

Now Christy is not a great singer or guitar player or song writer, but he had CHARISMA. Seeing him live could be brilliant.

Anybody know if there's any truth behind the story about Bob refusing to play Hurricane any more because it was eventually found out that Ruben Carter did actually commit murder?

For my favourites I'd have to say Like a Rolling Stone, Masters of War or Blind Willie McTell, like has been said already, it could be a different answer any day of the week.
