the SKY premership is built on sand, i think it could head for a downward slope if clubs dont get their act together and go back to their roots. the top spanish sides have mainly spanish players, when italy was top dog, they had mainly italian players.

32_4_1 you fall into the trap of missing my point. you have used spanish team vs english teams in the uefa cup as grounds for theeague being better. my point is this: alot of the spanish teams were top 4 teams who spent to get into the top 4 got into champions league quals and or group stages but wre knocked out early on so got to play uefa cup. the english teams get through to the letter stages meaning its only the teams who qualified on league ranking who play in the b compettion. the spanish teams usually fall away the nxt ye in the leauge and someone else spends big to do well once
in the premier league lower teams have taken alot of points off top teams this season, but the top teams have still performed to their ususla high standards in europe (except the pool) so the league must be stronger or is europe weaker now to? barca and real usually wipe the floor with small teams in spain yet real cant get passed the last 16 and barca struggled against stuttgart.
