Limerick are just as good as Tipp. especially with the return of Padraic McEnery from that dreadful injury that he got last year in that soccer match and his brother Eoin has recently finished playing with Nemo rangers and has come back to his native county to play again. The only one that we will be missing is Seamous O Carroll who is apparantely giving up the football to focus on handball, cant blame him I suppose after winning the Limerick U 21 doubles title, other than that we should have a full team and our captain seems to be alright again, hes not dragging the leg as much anynore anyway, so hopefull we will have a good win.

didn't think seamus was giving it up this soon to concentrate on the handball. any sign of ian ryan being ready for thu night. Full back line v clare was excellent. The whole team really came into it in the second half. clare just ran out of steam

Banner Supporters even will tell you that this was not a highly rated banner u21 football team this year and
the absence of the kilmurray players who were absent in their quest to bring an all ireland senior football title
to clare weakened the teams chances even further!

Its a good job in a way that limerick u21s won this as the limerick senior football team like the hurlers is finished!
Ye are in Div 4 and after ye loosing to Waterford, Clare and Wicklow are now the front runners to get promoted by a mile.
And thats with Clare and Wicklow having played poor to obtain their wins so far!

Enjoy yer 2 weeks joy out of beating a poor underated clare u21 football team narrowily by a goal as just like last year
after Clare u21 footballers beating limerick, Tipperary u21 footballers beat Clare. Tipperary I reckon will beat Limerick easily
this year too just as they did to Clare last year!
