Ray McCarron's goal for Monaghan against Cavan in the Ulster Championship in the early 90s - outrageous dummy and then planted the ball into the top corner. Maurice Fitz's point against Dublin to level the game in Thurles would be up there for the sheer drama of it

Lockjaw i'm with you on the Donegal one, Eamonns score was brilliant and inspired the team. He doesn't score too many but at least he gets the important ones!!

why are people mentioning mulligans goal it looked good but should have being disallowed on so many level surely it cant count now mind you i was delighted when he done it but even at that its nothing on o haras goal last year, blasting it from about 25 yars or from 5 yards, the o hara build up was alot better to he was out near the half way line

Shane Mc Manus' goal for Monaghan against Derry in 2005.

Won the ball on his own 45 gave it off and ran the length of the field to get it back on the twenty and blast it into the corner off the post. Great goal plus he's a clubman of mine so twas great all round.

The finlay free against meath in the last minute of the NFL final in 2005

The eoin bradley goal in the ulster champ where he ran past around six lads and buried it from way out. Can't remember who against. Anyone remember?

One of the best scores I've seen live was Graham Geraghty's point against the Dubs in 2005, I think. Probably 3 yards from the end-line and on the wrong side for a right footer and it sailed over. Don't think the umpires even had to consult each other. The only way it could have been better was if it had been in front of the Hill.
His goal against Tyrone last year was a cracker too.
Cian Ward has got a few great ones recently too.

Defo Mugsy's (Eoin Mulligan) goal versus dublin. and point would be Maurice Fitz's sideline kick

Mulligan's goal v Dublin was stylish and cheeky, point from Eamon Burns(Derry) v Down in 91 and of course Maurice Fitz from the sideline where he used the breeze v Dublin. All class efforts.Seamus Darby's was a good goal allright(a wee nudge or was it? then a cracker of a shot) but it's remembered more for what it stopped Kerry from doing.

Can't believe we got to the second page of this and not a single hurling score!

For a start what about the one Shefflin set up after passing to himself, I think it was against Wexford last year.

Couple of years back a Galway fella flicking the ball over a fella collecting the other side and pointing. At the time I thought it was Eugene Cloonan, but I was corrected on this by Galway lads last time this subject come up. I've forgot again, who was it lads?

Lastly a Wexford score a few years ago. The fella was over sixty yards out he doubled on the ball in midair and put it over for a point. Breathtaking skill. Again the Wexford lads would need to fill in the blanks.

Ciaran McDonald scored some immense points against Nemo in the AIF in 2001. Also scored some screamers in 2003 in the same fixture despite being hampered by injury...

James Horan was some man for big scores badk in his day too. (I think it was the semi against Offaly in 99? Could be mistaken tho)

Dick clerkin got a score from 60 yards out on the sideline against dit in the siegerson cup this year.. simply unbelivable.. the fact that dick clerkin of all ppl scored it makes it all the more astonishing!!.. its a pity he will never do it again!!

Diarmuid O'Sullivan's point against Limerick 7 or 8 years ago when two Limerick men bounced off him before he put the ball over the bar from around his own 21!

jethro081, i think your on about eoin bradley goal against down in the marshes, 2005, i think??!! a qualifier game. Def would have been goal of the season if muggsy hadn't scored his!

Might be biased here, for obvious reasons, but i think johnny mcgurks point against dublin in 93 semi-final has to be up there with the best.
