O'Raghaillighs are a VERY POOR intermediate side and if they played the Monaghan intermediate champions who are Carrickmacross they would be beaten by ten points or more.

Well done to all at the O Raghs. They have had 2 great years and everyone in football knows that a serious amount of work is required to achieve success. I was at sundays game and I was impressed with the number of people supporting the Drogheda team.

I taught there was a decent crowd at the game. Considering they were two town teams. Teams from the country have a whole parish following them. Anyway get of rats back. In a very hard division to get out of and compete in they lost one match all year , which was in the league after they won it. . It's the end of hard year let's leave it be

I have no jam in the house at the moment Ollie but when I get some I will eat it but are you telling me that the O'Raghaillighs would beat Carrick, the carrick forwards would have a field day.

Yours Sincerely
Jam

MR, what's your problem with slagging off Drogheda GAA clubs and their support. There was a decent crowd at the game on Sunday with support I would say evenly split between the two clubs. The issue with town teams and their smaller support is simple, there is more activities that people can enjoy in urban areas whereas in a country club the parish team is invariably the hub of activity in summer months. It's as simple as that. Well done Ragh's a marvellous effort this year by all involved, keep up the good work, bar two players the rest is under thirty which bodes well for the future.
