O'Raghallaighs

Roche destroyed the Mochta's the other nite.. i also saw them beat O'Mahony's and two teams (one senior and one junior) from already this season, and they bet them well. very unlucky last year to be beaten in last kick of the game against na piarasaigh with a goal when they were two points up. Rats are very good team tho and it'll really go down to who performs on the day between roche and rats. can't really see plunketts being up for contention. it'll be between rats and roche in that group, with either of them able to go the whole way in the end.

Another good win kicking 17pts.
3 wins from 3 outings against senior opposition and playing a nice brand of football.
Not bad for this time of year. Well done lads

Betting for Group
O'Raghallaighs 2/9
Roche 7/2
Plunketts 9/2.
This is the only group where the winners are guaranteed.

I dont see why everything the rats do has to be posted on this site.
Its clearly people from inside th club looking to bring attention to themselves.
Quite frankly i'm sick of hearing about them at this stage. seems to me like they are setting themselves up for a big fall.

Northroader,

Can you stop posting your comments on the O'Raghs please, its absolute rubbish to be talking about how great you are or not in march.

you're lining the O'raghs up for a big a big fall

joej - your post last week
'I agree with Joseff nothing is won in the 2nd week in march, however kelly has brought a belief to the Raghs which has been missing since they won the junior title in 2001. They are unbeaten in all friendlies to date & yes the pats were missing a few players, however its a step in the right direction. In previous years we wouldn't even get close to the Pats.'
Get off your high horse joej. I posted nothing different to what you posted above.
Lads deserve credit for bright start to the year. End of story.

Roche bet Brides at the weekend.. were up by 6 or 7 points and ref was poor, made some outlandish decisions and gave a stupid penalty to brides but roche still pulled through. saying that though, ya have to agree with the earlier posts, nothing is won this early in the year. rats were unbeaten until the weekend, when roche won acc in 2008, they were unbeaten until middle of end of april or start of may and still only ended year with acc win. i'd prefer to be losing now and peak later. cannot wait for start of league in week and a half or so.. this is what teams want to actually do well in

I think yesterdays result proves that we are contenders for this years championship. Thats twice in a month we have beaten last years intermediate champions and thats without getting into second gear. I'll probably be criticised for saying this as its only the winter league but i dont care, we are quick enough to get on the teams back when they are not performing and losing so being a bit positive shouldn't be a crime.

As for 'rat pack' and his bold statements after our first game v mals, about them competing with MR and the blues, i think he'd be changing his mind if he was at the match yesterday. They did nothing but argue and shout at each other and at the referee the whole game. They aren't a team and they won't be doing anything this year. If our lads had their shooting boots on yesterday it would've been very embarrasing for them.

It's great your all having a good laugh there but i think we will have the last laugh come october.
As for todays match if the referee had've been fair it would've been a lot closer. And as for the mals i think the county board should be lookin into whether they should be in div 2 at all. they should be competing in the armagh league as thats were most of their players come from.
