Excellent result last night - something we wouldn't have been capable of in past seasons. Kellys made a difference but its just first match in ACC. Dont get carried away Bellboy.

What did they do last night that was deemed "excellent" by one of their own club men.
I would gaurantee they will struggle to make teh quarter finals and will finish mid table in the league where they are realisticially.

Remember nothing is won in the second week of march my drogheda friends.

I hope your name reflects tour personality. To say the Raghs have no heart is utter rubbish, I agree with Joseff nothing is won in the 2nd week in march, however kelly has brought a belief to the Raghs which has been missing since they won the junior title in 2001. They are unbeaten in all friendlies to date & yes the pats were missing a few players, however its a step in the right direction. In previous years we wouldn't even get close to the Pats.

It must be our nature, but us Irish have a terrible habbit of knocking people & teams without really knowing the facts. Yes some players have more heart than others, but the main heart must come from the manager. To say a team has no heart is the ultimate insult.

Ye town lads are off your heads. "Kelly has brought a belief to the Raghs" Why would you need some one from outside to come in and give you belief? It's the same kind of lads that make statements like that who think a pair of predators makes you kick the ball further!

I think some teams in Drogheda need to get rid of this inferiority complex they have about themselves.

Muscles typical reply and again a negative reply. We all have different opinions & different clubs, however we all want the same end result, our club to do the best the can & the county to win more than 2 c'ship matches on the bounce.

Kely is not from outside the club, he spent all of his youth & was rared in the Raghs.

You obviously know S. F. A about so called drogheda football or clubs

You joej will find that reading capitals has the inverse effect. Almost all agree IT MAKES IT HARDER TO READ.

Highhopes - I'm sure if you had to of seen the O'Raighaillaigh's v the Pat's you would of been saying the exact same about the o'Raighaillaigh's.

Poor as they were last year and they still managed to beat the plunkets what would make you suggest the plunkets can beat the O'Raighailligh's (without Ben Rogan who is now with the O'Raighaillaigh's from the Plunkets) this year - what has changed in your view so much in 6 month since they met in the championship?

Lets get back to this in a few weeks when we see how O'Raighaillaigh's, Roche and the Plunkets do in their respective Winter league groups.

The 1-no one really cares about the winter league do they?Highopes is spot on, Roche will be a force to be reckoned with this year.As for Rats same old same old, every year they get good start and all of a sudden they are world beaters and since when did one player govern a team, well maybe[gooch] but then they havnt got the gooch.

I'm saying is why are the O'Raighaillaigh's so bad this year and Plunkets and Roche so better?

1. The O'Raighaillaigh's bet plunkets in the championship last year &
2. They have Ben Rogan who started with the Plunkets last year.

And if no-one cares about the winter league how are Roche going to be a forced to be reckoned with if there latestes result mean nothing?

I'm not saying O'Raighailligh's will bet anyone but i wan't to know why the Plunkets can beat the O'Raighaillaigh's this year compared to last, what has changed?

And why are the Roche so very good this year when the last 3-4 years they haven't reached a S/F or Final spot unlike the O'raighaillaigh's?

Roche were bet by Ger's, Na parsaigh, O'Connels, drew with Hunterstown and bet the Nick's last year in their championship.

I never said the O'Raighaillaigh's are brilliant but how can that form be a force to be reckoned with and again how are the Plunkets better than their neighbour's when they couln't beat them in last year's IFC?

I must be missing something with you and High hopes but i cannot seem the logic behind it???
