My literary genuis is not just restricted to pies, I spin a good story about curtains, bedroom furniture and drive shafts from any massey you care to name. I will keep it for another day, I dont think you have got over my last one, or are ready for another.

Let me know when you are!

Storky - Your knowledge of hurling development must be very primitive if you think that my comment was "dishing out advice"! I do remember saying that its great to see good banter about hurling even if "we" (Fermanagh/Leitrim/Sligo and the rest) are not from so called hurling counties. Just because I am from Leitrim doesnt mean I cant voice an opinion. My geographical position on the map of Ireland should not deter my enthusiasm for the great game of hurling!!!! And i stand to be corrected but I do believe Leitrim beat Fermanagh in last years championship which is far from any great achievement!!!

Now now, joesoapy, lets just ease of the analogies a wee bit and keep it a bit more straightforward. There's nothin rattles my cage more than people using metaphors.

Sadly seniors beaten by 2 pts yesterday, best on the day probably Barry Smith followed closely by Shea Curran who seems to be improving more every time he goes out, Smiths work rate and commitment could be a lesson for some of the other panel members. Fermanagh goal man excellent but needs to add yards to his puck outs as this skill should be an advantage to his teammates which seems to be misssing
The minors had a massive win with double scores over a Monaghan team tipped to hammer them, incidentally the minors could teach the seniors a few things about teamwork and commitment.

Just not enough clubs in the county. We are in a bad way in Derry too with only 8 clubs .

hard luck seniors against monaghan on Saturday, have to say you have the potential to progress well into the Lory Magher competition. However there are still some players whose attitude to representing their county stinks. For example running of to football training for a junior football side, instead of training with your county team mates. Then expecting to walk back on as if nothing wrong has happened. Fair play to management for realising this. Its all about pride when ever you pull the green and white jersey on. Remember that you only get a few chances and should grasp them when they come your way.

I'm not talking about the minors attitude, any team that can turn around their league results and walk over Monaghan in such a fashion have put the effort in.

However I was refering to some so called stars on the current senior panel, and the lack of accountability when ever hardy comes to hardy.

I have to agree the attitude of the Minors is one whihc the Seniors should adapt. The minors all put in the effort and work as a well nit unit "as a team" !!
what do you think of the selection of Lisnaskea hurler David Mc Gorman as the minor captain??

The seniors have some serious commitment issues that need addressed as well as the ability to be able to trust and rely on each other and start to work as Fermanagh not as two sepererate clubs in the one jersey.!!

i think your attitude to junior football stinks, showsfair , surely there is 7 days in a week why cant the county manager not call his training on an evening or a sunday morning that would suit everyone whats your problem with junior football there is not enough hurling in our county to make playing hurling alone so surely they should be entitled to play football as well and wear their club jerysey with pride always
