I wonder if the manager actually knows what he's at after todays game. Was in the Bridge for me sins. Appalled at some of the decisions made. It wouldn't instill much confidence in the players i'm sure. And its not the first time we've scratched our heads at his calls. howshecuttin08 (Fermanagh) - Posts: 207 - 14/03/2010 18:50:30 587782 Link 0 |
Whos sean mc goldrick?? Fermanagh only won by 2 points but from what i seen today there was a paul mc goldrick playing and he contributed 1-1 from play thats 4 points, and was very accurate from dead ball. Shea curran had a stormer of a game on the half back line scoring 0-2 from open play. joebass (Fermanagh) - Posts: 3 - 14/03/2010 20:02:01 587872 Link 0 |

Maybe, but its still not Division 4, yet!! Its good to see how constructive your posts are. More worried about slagging skea than anything else. omaghredhand (Tyrone) - Posts: 3656 - 15/03/2010 13:07:59 588403 Link 0 |

what was the team yesterday. despite the result i hear it was a good performance that looks likely to keep fermanagh in division 4. With the footballers soon to be in this division does that mean that for once the countys resources and money will be split evenly or will the footballers high body still try and control every1. donkeykong (Fermanagh) - Posts: 147 - 23/03/2010 15:12:49 596274 Link 0 |
To keep them in divison 4 i meant missing out of the chance of promotion. donkeykong (Fermanagh) - Posts: 147 - 23/03/2010 15:18:47 596284 Link 0 |

big_dixy you think lisbellaw are like gods if you were to take all the hurlers that are from lisbellaw you would not even have a starting 15 your so called hurlers are from all parts of the county as for skea they could line out a team that are from skea, and yes there are players from skea who lisbellaw would love on there team, and as you say paul mc goldrick is only good for frees, well as far as i can see any good football or hurling team have a good free taker which will win games, look at fermanagh football if they had a free taker they would have a ulster title, so count your self lucky use have someone so good. jack132 (Fermanagh) - Posts: 119 - 24/03/2010 09:42:44 597070 Link 0 |
jack132 - No disrespect to you as were all entitled to you opinion, but from watching many hurling games over the last number of years, I honestly whole heartedly do not think P McG would make the Lisbellaw team. Yes he is a good free taker, however did miss a few last week v S Down and in previous weeks, but no one's perfect. BUT, free taking responsibilities can be taken over by other players, incidently from lisbellaw. Now this is not a b*t*hing opinion between lisbellaw and lisnaskea. But if you watched P McG v Cavan, you could see that he was playing far too deep, allowing there wing half back to be an extra attacker. Every high ball he went for, he actually pulled out and his man won every ball. He cant win what us Old boys would call a dirty ball. I don't believe he offers much from play. i hear that lisbellaw our doing brilliant this past few years and i dont think any skea player would get a starting place on the lisbellaw team...... Any other thoughts on this GAA1234 (Fermanagh) - Posts: 30 - 25/03/2010 14:41:04 598507 Link 0 |

i think people no im right when i say lisbellaw could not field a team if they didnt have players from other clubs, i have seen skea had a minor team about 6 years ago were thay had 12 players from carrowshee park alone, and before use start i no they might not be playing now. and i didnt say mc goldrick would make the lisbellaw 15 but its good to have a free taker like him on any team. why do everyone slag the only to hurling clubs in fermanagh i bet half of use people slaging wouldnt even get on the starting 15 on either team use should be thankful to have 2 clubs trying to keep the wounderful game alive in fermanagh jack132 (Fermanagh) - Posts: 119 - 25/03/2010 19:48:00 599163 Link 0 |
Been reading the hurling threads on the hurlin past while. Great to see so much interest in the game. Not many other so called fooball counties have any discussion regarding hurling. All ill say is keep encouraging. Great to see Knocks establish a team. Not healthy having one team dominating. St. Marys in Leitrim have won championship 11 years running now. G/Manor are getting there and they are looking to get promoted to Ulsters division 4 hurling league. We were once like Knocks few years back. Keep up the good banter lads!!!!
