He was poor today on his kicking. He is really good hard to know if nerves or something but he is a real top finisher

Who were those experts??? O'leary was man of the match.

Also I agree sexton is better going forward but in tight games the bread and butter of an out-half is kicking and sorry sexton out of hand kicking and goal kicking wasn't up to scratch yesterday. Thanks bit of god wales defence was absolutely terrible yesterday. Also saying he only young he's 24 he's not that young pundits were writing off james hook yesterday saying he's past it and he's the same age as him. I agree he should have been replaced yesterday but in the long term is the only option as outhalf.

You are behind the times. The experts rated Sexton possible MOTM after the England game.

By the way, did anyone see O'Gara against Wales last year? At half time Kidney was thinking of moving Hayes to fly half.

But half a game does not make a career.

My mistake.... But on the preformance yesterday he's still a bit to progress, when sexton has more games under his belt we'll see. But some of his kicking from hand was poor yesterday. I'd still start ROG and bring in sexton if needed at the moment instead of the other way around but i suppose he's trying to build for the world cup.

Sexton needs game time at this level, and no better time to find out; grand slam is gone ROG is tried and tested; Sexton can get another 7-8 gams under his belt before world cup next year in which to improve his confidence level and to get used to test match rugby; better going into this competition knowing that we have the option of 2 fly halfs than last time when ROG misfired

Taking him off as he was about to kick a penalty will definitely not give him confidence , R O'G should have stated the game and the Triple crown would have been saved.

If O'Gara had started, I suspect the score wouold have been 21-6 to Scotland by the time the switch was made.

Sexton made the seven points. Two kicks are worth six. He also prevented a certain Scottish try.

Maybe you want Martin Johnson as coach as well?

Agree with Patrique on this one, Sexton offers so much more than ROG and if he can get those shooting boots mended then he really will be the real deal.

No, but you have no concept of how rugby is played.

Ireland's problem today was the scrum and line out, ad loose ball. So numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, need to take ALL of the blame.

O'Gara cannot play any of those positions.

patrique is correct, the problem is the front row and the line out

sexton offers so much more than o'gara in open play he has to start, his kicking is bad at the moment but it is his 1st six nations so give the guy a chance

Not quite.

Obviously Declan Kidney agrees with me. (He picked the team, Eamon, not me. I know I am influential but.......)
