582520 tribesman --- we dont to have a plane to get our manager in.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles...Ya, we got 'em all in Galway. Whats this "WE" business anyway...are you not from Monaghan, although I could see why perhaps you might follow another county given the football (and I attach that term very loosely) played by your crowd

18 wides. An experimental, virtually unknown Dublin team, WELL COACHED IN THE ART OF TACKLING.The returning Mortimer letting the team down at a crucial moment as usual. He wouldnt waltz back on a Kerry team.Whats gone wrong with the coaching in Mayo.I see pictures and publicity in a local paper concerning "coach tutors".Whats going on then? Tutoring what? We have a set of forwards at senior county level who cant score under pressure and often when under no pressure at all.We have backs who run up the field like greyhounds.I am told it is called "joining the line". The same backs then cant defend their own goal. I dont really know who or what these coaches are tutoring, but it begs the question who are these coach/tutors,and who pray tell me has been coaching the coaches. The title of this post could be renamed ;"The chickens, the coaches, and at least two forwards have come home to roost"

What was that cup that T. Mortimer lifted above his head in Galway?

Galway lads, if the country is laughn at mayo, then what do they think of the team that had two cracks at them in a few weeks and got beaten both times? Ye havent featured at the business end in a decade. Can ye still remember what croker looks like?

Trixy, We need to be careful not to talk this team down. I remember a number of years ago, simillar bad shooting by a mayo team and them getting slated, We then had a period of the team trying to walk the ball to the goals rather than shoot. The fowards we have now are much better than we have had in a while but the panic button went off and the reaction was not good. I would expect this to be addressed by the mayo management in coming weeks. I hope there is some video coverage of the match as it needs to be replayed to the players along with Kerry's point by Marc O Shea against Monaghan in 2008 as a contrast.
