No offence nothing these clubs but did bective not lose few players to o mahonys after there youth level and bective are a small club . Simonstown had players from cork, armagh derry when i was playing for a team around there .

holy god, dell i thought you were totally against people playing for other clubs.what did urney do without you?

you have made it very clear that you are very against players being poached,so in turn you would tend to be against the poached players in a club or the club that poached them.either way it shows that you could be biased when reffing a match involving one of these clubs.your digging a big hole for yourself.

Dellboy please name the players O'Mahony's, have poached. I am not sure about Simonstown but as you're having hallucinations about O'Mahony's you're probably making that stuff up about them too. The team that won the 2008 championship were all playing for O'Mahonys since they were 6 or 7 years of age. So unless you can give me names of the players I would request an apology

Del, I do of course agree that if Smyth is good enough to play for Meath seniors then he will be picked whether or not he is playing Junior or Senior, I just stated that that is why he wishes to move.
Over the years many players have played with distinction for Meath from Junior clubs.
I personally wouldn't include O'Mahonies on that list as the amount they have won in the last few years is less than it should with the playing resources available, though not helped by the number of county footballers they have, meaning the senior panel don't train together as a full group, or almost a full group as often as some clubs.
Unfortunately though the issue of poaching in GAA is very much a grey area and is practically impossible to categorically prove.

O mahonys win it in 08 and fair play to them and was in a final in another year semi last year and they have earned there right to be up there . But your points do make sense on the training thing .
