Sorry fans, I thought this was one of those music threads.

I appreciate that many United fans are wannabe "scousers" and emulate the "scousers" who childishly tormented United fans about the 25 year drought. The united fans foolishly answered "we have the biggest crowds". All very childish.

During United's 41 year drought from 1911 to 1952 people were much more grown up and did not make childish comments.

Undoubtedly, in the last 20 years United have become a "big club", given they had won 3 league titles when I was a lad. And fair play to them. But can money buy happiness?

And I admit that in season 2009/10 City have won the same as United. Nowt.

Alas however City's proud chant "93 years, and we're still here" will come to an end as they buy success, like all the rest.

All the recent real success, FA Youth Cup wins, Division 3 play off wins, Division 2 wins, will alas go the way of all Ireland minor and U21 titles, senior provincial titles, National league titles, and City, just like Declan Browne, Matty Forde, Frank McGuigan, Joe Canning, Eugene Cloonan and Eoin Kelly, Ken Mcgrath, John Mullane, Ciaran Whelan and the rest, will be labelled as failures.

Roscommon and Galway minor success, pah, Tony Browne's glorious career, pah, what did he win, Dublin's 5 in a row in Leinster, Armagh's 7 Ulster titles, all sneered at by fools, morons and those without an inkling of the joy or history of sport.

In the last 25 years I have NEVER seen as much reaction to Man City exciting the FA cup, and that reaction is from United fans, living in dread. If not, why react now?

Sky and the media have much to answer for.

All of this crass stupidity can be laid at Sky's door. We know scousers did it for 25 years with United fans before the advent of Sky but we also know what scousers are like. Alas, many now want to emulate them. A secret suppressed desire to be a Liverpool fan surfacing in United men. Understandable, as they are glory hunters, but sad.

And apart from all that I hope Leeds win the cup. You know, Division 3 team.

Yes, someone told me they lost to the first half decent side they met.

Typical Leeds.

Watching City avenge the City of Manchester again.

Any one beats United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Villa, Chelsea, we get them.

My 16/1 on Arsenal the day after they lost to United is looking great again.

Yes, City were 2nd last year, and 1st the year before, isn't that right?

They seem to be slipping.

My God, we might not even make the top four for the first time in..............................

THis actually is almost a very good and meaningful post. I agree with it in general, and don't go out of my way to to criticise City and gloat about 34 years or whatever.

However the GAA analogy Patrique has used falls flat on its face when you extend it to the successful teams. THe equivalent would be Patrique setting up multiple threads about Kerry and his life being constantly consumed by the comings and goings of the Kingdom. He would never have a single good word to say about them and would make instant enemies of Kerry supporters. He expects sympathy/respect for the "losers" and none for the "winners". Like everything else though, he wants everything his own way. He wants to give Utd abuse and not get any back. Utd are useless, but they keep winning. City aren't great, but they're actually brilliant.

Surely most of you have copped that Patrique is always right? He makes a prediction, it dosn't come true, but of course he was right. He is always right, he was always right and he always will be right.

You REALLY do not like Man Utd in any shape or form? You despise any of their former players and support any team they come up against in europe.
I know there are ABUs on this site and sure i dont like lpool or chelski but i dont go out of my road to comment on them(every time a thread about them comes up) or their opposition or find stats(or 'FACTS' in your case) about them.

Really. What is wrong with you?

That is the tyoe of Genius you are dealing with.
