portaferry must mean the business this year in championship as they are travelling to kilkenny for friendlys,they must be RED RED HOT as league proformances tell us they even drew with ALL IRELAND CLUB champions ,,so its going to be interesting im putting my money on ???COLLIE MC not to hurl for bcran

Yeah, would say Portaferry will beat Ballygalget by 15 points with the team they have. I'd expect a close final but Portaferry to come out on top finally after several years in the wilderness. Don't think any Down team will make an impact on Ulster.

you may be right LONG JOHN, heard you are back on the party circuit this weather...anywho I think if Portaferry click and Ballygalget don't play well then your prediction will be quite close...however, regardless of Ballygalget's lacklustre league campaign I expect them to have their homework done and maybe pull off a wee suprise (or at least put it up to them), many a good team on paper got beat by teams that shouldnt have beat them come championship day. Its all on the day lads, heres hoping we are in for a good championship anyway.

Heard about the threat the ports have!!
Crans will be strong and have an attack that could be headed by one of best hurlers in ulster so never count them out!!

love to know who the best hurler in ulster is that might be in crans side if it s your man collie not a chance heard he is in Newcastle that weekend meeting up with a friend{GIRL} he met when he was over earlier in the year,so he is rulede out,,WONDERWHOITIS

good to read portaferry hot favourites,crans looking at ulster and galgets just get on with trainning saying or writting nothing,a team that train most of the night up and down slieve donard mean business,,ill have my money on galgets,

Ballygalget men dropping like flys atm. Stevie clarke,Danny toner and Caolan Bailie all out and were to be starting next weks championship. Lack of forwards atm and could be more imjuries by the time saturday comes!!
