Good win for Portaferry on Satuday against The Dual. With the lack of county players, Portaferry showed they have the depth in squad to beat a decent Cushendual side. Lets just see if this winning streak continues

i think the portaferry boys held the the county together yesterday again! andy, coogie and conor oprey should be very proud of there performances! murf was a rock again at the back and i thought mcgarry was harsley done by! as everyone nos my opinion on rory it was plain to see he is not fit and not strong enough for senior hurling! bcran boys proved it yesterday again they cant do it in the big matches, to light, no heart and just not county standard, skill doesnt get you through county games, you need strength! bgalget boys battle hard as usual but rory should be replaced by shane conlan as he is one of the best up and coming players in the county, give him a chance!

murph was a fault for at least 2 of the goals, not to mention the equalising point. Clearing the odd lose ball does not a fullback make.

Granted some of the Crans had poor outings but McGarry was lucky to get the 15 minutes he did, don't think he touched leather. The Ennis' were the best defenders Down had. Andy Savage had a good game, but Cougie was a yard off the pace and stretching with one handed pulls he should be getting to earlier.

Did Conor O'Prey play for the Ports on Saturday?

Thought magic played well, Own Clarke stayed on 2 long, why? murff -not the best av seen him play cougie played weel, Ben ennis outa position lacking, O Prey done well when he came on, poor scoring in the 2nd 1/2. Rory was ok but needs ta pick passes.

sliothar, have you been lately? no where in my previous posts av I said r refered to the Cushendall team as a "good Dall team" Of course they were missing 6/7 players who were on county duty as were we. i just said the lads who played, played well and they can only play agin the team that is there. unlike ur club team who couldnt release minor players 4 the co as u needed them 2 beat Ballycastle. And when I asked, have you been lately, spec savers r doing a great deal now. try them !!!!!

Another great win for us at the weekend over one of the best clubs from derry! it was comfortable win for us as we cruise into the semi finals! We have showed this year that when given the chance we are every bit as good as the so called "wonder Kids" of Ballycran! We beat a cusendall team who fancy themselves for an antrim championship this year, we won comfortably! We just have so many players and so much competion for places and if we let are hurling do the talking everbody in ballycran and ballygalget would honestly admit they would be up against it! Im not slagging!
