Denis Glennon ---. Wow he had a good game against wicklow but he is incredibly inconsistent and though I hope he has a good game against louth, i wont be at all suprised if he doesnt. He is quick but he takes too much out of the ball and usually ends up tripping himself up. A truly good player sticks with their team regardless of rough patches and useless managers. In fairness its partly our fault for pandering his ego for so long. we should just start concentrating on the young lads like conor lynam, who are excellent players without hte attitude.

glennon actually played at the start of the year regardless of the manager so that comment is unjustified, not like dessie kean or heavin. glennon is clearly the best footballer we have. how would lynam do if the best defender on each team marked him, probably the way he played with his club and not score at all.. now im not putting the lad down he is a fine footballer in his own right but well behind glennons class...

RJ is aclown who hates everything westmeath except Dennis....Must be a relation. We all know that Denis is a wonderful player, one of the best i have seen play for Westmeath. But for the idiots coming on criticizing the like of Conor Lynam, all one can say is 'Get A Life". Lynam is an outstanding talent that could well go on to become as good as or better player that Denis.

What age is Glennon now? He cant be 30 yet can he??? Anyway look at Johnny Doyle. Still going strong at 31/32 and definitely still 1 of the best forwards in the country. If I was Pat Flanagan this wud be my inside forward line for the 2011 NFL

Denis Glennon is a fantastic player for Tpass and also Westmeath over the past number of years but I feel that no player should be chased after and should be 100% commited in playing for club or county. I except that the constant pressure of having to perform year in year out can be challenging but with top class players like Brian Slevin on the up and coming maybe its time to let a new star shine.
