Galway lads, what ever happened to Eugene Cloonan? Remember him playing for Galway and Athenry back in the day. Seemed to vanish very quickly at a young age?

A great player for both Galway and his club where he won 3 all ireland club medals. Unfortunately he has been plagged by back injuries that last number of years.
A player that always gave the great Brian Lohan his most trouble in games.

Nearly never happened though, and ye were lucky to have him, when he played well. Any other team were jealous of Meath because of him. Seen him score an unbelieveable point in Croker and its one that will always stay fresh in my head. But maybe its a good thing he is gone, Would he always be as good as he was?

Francie Grehan would be one id think of regarding Roscommon.
