If we were all as strong as Kilkenny at one code we'd be delighted, you'd like to see them stronger at football but realistically Kilkenny is a small county population wise and geographically so it'll take something radical to get Kilkenny competitive in football, after pulling out of the league for so long its next to impossible to see a time where Kilkenny will be competitive again, maybe if they build on the underage teams but any of them who are good at hurling too won't be rushing to play for Kilkenny footballers. Its also an image problem trying to get someone to play for a team who are so outclassed in every game they play.

I'd love to see kilkenny as a strong football county. But every other county in Ireland would be happy to have a team/ teams as strong kilkenny hurling

Wonder how Kilkenny would fare in football against some of the top ladies teams?

You might get the same odds as Cork Vs Kerry in Croke Park except you would never expect a Kilkenny team to roll over.

fair play to the lads who are playing football with kilkenny it cant be easy and people shouldnt be putting them down or taken the pi*s outa them. alot of people seem to forget kilkenny are well used to dishing out hammerings in the hurling to the likes of cork, galway, tipp etc . if an underage structure can be put in place the same way its in place for the hurling then kilkenny would improve. im sure if the kilkenny hurling team lined up for the footballers they would beat alot of football teams to.
