With the upholding of Joe Mahon's ban, this gives more substance to the arguement that TV cameras should be banned from Omagh.

Joe Mahon's ban sends out a clear message to Tyrone that they won't get away 'dirty play' irrespective of appeals. Tyrone are masters at this hidden fouling and the more television coverage will make them play fair like all the other counties aspire to.
