This has done me absolutely no long term damage at all.
There are some very narrow minded people who think that you are a bad person if you have ever taken drugs.
So what? I'm not ashamed of it, don't regret it. I put it all down to experience.
Now the government is trying to close head shops selling herbal highs. This will force more drugs onto the street.
BZP was legal until last year and since it has gone illegal there has been nearly E2million worth of it seized by Guards and Customs.

I don't bother with any type of drugs now. It is years 6-7 years since I have taken E, coke or speed and wouldn't touch them again.
It is about 2 years since I had a smoke.
Don't see any harm in it, I just couldn't be bothered anymore.

I've tried just about everything apart from Crack and Heroin... although I've been at parties in Amsterdam where there's been lads/lasses on both... usually very respectable people with good jobs to boot. I still have the odd night on Coke/Pills.... I have to say that I enjoy them and I've never got into any trouble. I've been arrested in town for being drunk, tore my right ankle to shreds, and got into fights... lost many phones, wallets etc and all from the drink. I'm far more respectable when I'm off my head to be honest. I've been at warehouse raves that you wouldnt see one little bit of trouble... if it was booze going around there would be killings.

I haven't ever tried drugs and I don't plan to but like never say never ya know.. I wouldn't advise anyone to go near them, especially not until they are at a mature enough age to make descisions like that. There's a guy in my class, he's not 14 til April, he's been smoking weed since he was in 6th class. Last year he was in about half the time and about half the days he was in he'd come back in after lunch or break completely stoned. Now he only comes in about 1/4 of the time and he goes out every lunch smoking it. Everybody knows, the smell of it is terrible. We've said it to our tutor and all and he's been sent to a councillor and the chaplin and everything but it doesn't seem to be getting through. I dunno what the next step will be but it could probably end up ruining his life.

ah had lots of brilliant nights on ecstasy in my younger days, much better than drink- happy fun buzz, hated being around drunken violent idiots. smoked alot of nice grass living abroad too. Ireland is still such a conservative country, its quite sad how people will believe any government propaganda about the perils of 'illegal' drugs. However legal (and taxable) drugs are ok though.

Ive swallowed just about every illegal substance going (except heroin and crack of course) and i can honestly say that they've never caused me any long term damage what so ever. Theres been little things like passing out seeing all sorts of spectacular colours and waking up with a nose that you'd have to get a kango hammer at to unblock but nothing serious.

People really shouldn't buy into all the bull they're told about drugs because addiction depends on the person in almost every context, ive only ever used weed on a regular basis (as im sure a lot of us have) but ive never been addicted to i it, i don't smoke it anymore (except for very rare occasions) and as a matter of fact i don't even smoke fags! If you have an addictive personality then stay the hell away from drugs because they'll ruin your life and keep drugs illegal which in turn will ruin my life because then i have to go to low life dealer for my little bag of magic instead of a legitimate source and worst of all hes gonna end up calling for money i owe i him.

Ps, i thought shrooms were by far the best thing ive ever put in my mouth :-)

smoked a bit of cannabis when i was in college, have never touched it since, i think society as a whole is on a downward slope. all crome seems to relove around drugs and i would urge all HS users to think twice about buying drugs because if we do we are all contributing to crime in this country.

Nothing can beat the natural highs in life like scoring the winning point or saving a penalty to win a match. I have spent most of my life working with young drug and alcohol users and many of them have had family members who dies as a result of heroin overdoses in inner city Dublin. Drugs were a scourge to that city and many other places now. While i admit that it is hard for youngsters to avoid this plague as it is so widespread i can see how easy it is to get any type of drug in any small town or village, i will always commend those who have the balls to say no and go about their lives without this scourge. My own drug is a few pints on a Friday night in a quiet pub where you can have a good chat or a sing-song and without getting into fights or damaging property. Drugs are the cause of many murders and the product of greed !!
