Are Athy beatable? Any team going to be able to come close to stopping them?

judging by results so far only maynooth should trouble Athy and Maynooth have only played 3 games to base that on. It's Athys league to lose. They still have to play Naas and Sars who have shown no consistency but, on any given day, with a full panel, they might cause an upset. But it would be an upset.

Yeah Maynooth on a good day could probably cause some trouble to Athy. I dont think you could rule anyone out yet because theres so many games left to play but Athy look a definite to make it. With maybe Maynooth & Celbridge probably pushing for the other spot. Does anyone know anything about Kilcock? Have they even played a game?

Here MaynoothStar you are clearly not from maynooth your just trying to get everyone on their back by making out that they are a cocky team. If you were on the Maynooth team you would be able to spell your team mates names properly. Maynooth haven't beaten anyone easily so far. They have all been hard fought wins so if you really were from maynooth you would know that!

I've seen most of the teams in action tho not Athy yet. I haven't seen any cocky players, including Maynooth V Sars which was hard fought. Some one sided games - but all lads playing the game. The only shaper involved in minor football seems to be one "poster boy" claiming to be from Maynooth.

naas and moorefield both got to the finals of this age under 16 ,havent heard much of naas yet but heard moorefield are poor this year with no good midfielders and only have two good forwards eoin o conor and adain tyrell will they be good for championship or are they just an adverage team

Athy played some quality football in the 1st half against moorefield, even kept them scoreless. Also Kevin Feely was absent. They're definaltly early favourites for league. Championship will be different though.
