I do think calling Killian Phair average is harsh...calling him very average is extremley harsh.....i do however feel that because he consistantly appears on the score board due to the fact he takes the frees masks his weaknesses....last time Brendans won a Championship he had a fantastic performance in the final....and if you are picking players who are underperforming he wouldnt be top of the list......but i dont think he is in the best 6 forwards in this town....but certainly worth his place in the panel.

how do london expect to win anything when they never keep a steady team? we have been trying the method of using new players every year for some time now and it's getting very boring, i believe a system should be put in place where to qualify for the county team you have to be a resident for a year or two. maybe then we can see some progress.

uknowme: London have to take what's available each year, and this is mostly dictated by employment. Players don't generally come across from Ireland out of choice, they generally come for work reasons. So London are always fighting against losing players every year. Player turnover is one of those things London has to put up with.

appreciated tongo, but i dont believe it is something that london have to put up with, why not put a propper system in place like i mentioned before? how many london born players are on the panel at the moment?

Huge boost for London that Chris Eastwood is back in the Capital. Anyone know whether he will be lining out for Chucullains again? No offence but thought some of the Senior clubs would pull out all the stops to try and sign him! Surely he will be in the London squad again as soon as he/ if he commits!!!

i think it is still early on in the season to be writing off londons chances, in regards to chris donellan, he has talent but he wouldnt get on a county team at home, he is just not in a physical shape good enough to compete at county, but then this is london. in regards to eastwood coming back from london, if it is true which going by reports it is, this will be a good boost for london if he commits,he didnt hang around for championship last year, he got the 3 points that beat waterford last year after coming off the bench at half time, but like i say will he commit....as for playing junior football, i would imagine hel be going to one of the big guns for this year having won an all ireland medal with his club back home!

Just to put London fan right, if Chris Eastwood is coming back to London, he has to transfer back to Cu Chullainns, the club he left as it is within the last two years

Mid field also in ist round minor championship. Meaths best player. No doubt on this lad. A nephew of mine shud get a run next weekend. small but a fast and reliable forward! no name mentioned!

magee should be available for selection...eastwood played for london last year, scored the winning three scores against waterford last year and kicked 4 or five against carlow, hes a very good forward and he could well be on the panel for the match against kilkenny as hes apparently back in the country after playing alongside owen mulligan for his home club and won an all ireland a couple of weeks ago.

So lads what would be your London starting line up with all these lads around and available now?????? And just to add if Eastwood goes to play for Cu Chullainns he would be wasting his talent and time.

Yeah, I agree Rover, he should join TCG and make the senior championship even more interesting this year!

People should take their blinkers off and realise that there is more than 4 "big" clubs in London! I have never agreed with stopping players transfers, but when it is big clubs poaching smaller clubs best players i think there is a case for it. Although I believe he hasnt played for CuCullians for a year, he can join whoever he wants.

So let the bidding Commence!!!!!

Irish rover, you are way out of order Eastwood has chosen to go back to Cu Chullainns, he cannot go anywhere else this year, nor does he want to,the deadline has passed
He has to be applauded, he was not to be bought.
