Defend the inclusion of more than a few second rate players.
Look for another weekend away in Ireland at whatever cost.
Think your making progress after been hammered by 20 odd points.
And state that anyone that critisises the management most be bitter disgruntled x player..
well he always seems to be ouy there too but sees things a little different.. and has all the little bits of information that players would hardly discuss or mention,,
and the those two poor players that he says he gets his info from, you get that much out of them even if you interigated them..
Also got very personal about one player who it turns out was asked if he was interested in managing the county seniors and guess wat happened to him..
Plus I hope you dont dye your hair this year green and white dose't really suit you berealistic..

If Roscommon beat London I cannot see Noel returning for another year. What I mean is, Roscommon are the worst of the worst and Noel knows this is his only chance of getting London a win in the Championship for a long time. If only he was "realistic" and bonded a proper team together there might of actually been an upset! But he rather flies lads in a couple of weeks before game from Ireland than groom what is already over here.

Of course he does.. he is thinking about lifting Sam in sept..
Roscommon have had a terrible season..
but still and all are not the worst team in the championship..
they beat Clare 2 weeks ago..
London could't even give Carlow a competitive match.
because its on in Ryslip and confidence is low in the Ross team.. like London there not used to winning or scoring big..
I expect the London boys to be up for it and battle hard at least till half time,,
that will be purely down to individuals like geraty, o cuiv, commer, hayden, horan,,maybe one or two more after that like phair if he gets the nod he is accurate and mac manimin if he shows up..
but good players do not make a good team and I do think they are short of players with a senior mentality..
I think there is a big question mark over the over all fitness of the team..
and the winning of this game will come down to fitness and mentality..
But afraid Realisticly this match is already lost.

Ballsofgaelic.listen here kid.If i can give you a bit of advice from an old head.Lay off your silly remarks about the London football manager and who you might think he is on here.The man has put in a damn big effort for london footballers and you will go a long way to hear anyone say a bad word about Noel,especially any player.You might not agree with how he does things,i dont always myself and i have already stated on here that going back to ireland for a challenge game and spending all that money is a non starter in my view,that said,i can appreciate the huge commitment he has made for the past 4 years and a huge one it is and for what,not a god damn cent other than expenses,he is probably out of pocket if truth be known,he has got thousands of pounds in sponsorship for the team all by himself without the help of the county board.No one is perfect and im sure he will tell you that himself but he has a passion for london football like no other and dont be telling me otherwise.You hark on about players coming off the boat and being played,well,some of these players are very good and its tempting to get them on board to strengthen the team,i can understand that.What i do have an issue with is the fact that a certain player transferred to his own club in order to play for london and he has stated that he will not play his club football here in london,that is a joke and to make it even worse his own club named this person on there 1st fifteen last week at the county board meeting and everyone knowing he will not kick a ball with them.Now thats a reason to be thick.

awayoutathat...You need tp read my post again and digest it.The player im referring to and the player your referring to are 2 different people im afraid.Im talking about a player who transferred for the benefit of being allowed to play for London footballers,he has stated on a few occassions that he will not play for any club here and when london are out of the championship he is transferring back to play with his club in ireland.----.He plays for london,gets the benifit of london training,gets food after,gets expenses,gets free gear and lastly a GPA grant and he then refuses to play club football here in london whilst keeping a club footballer here off the london team..I do not agree with this at all.....It should be stopped immediately....

i come onto here most days, more of an addiction than of interest. i read the same political rubbish and read the same people moaning about stuff that is not going to change because they bring it up on hoganstand, go and be proactive about all of the issues.
Noel is not the greatest manager in the world in my opinion, how many of you have trained or managed a team? training might takes place 2 or 3 times a week but i guarentee you the organising and the thought is a 7 day a week job. i do not agree with players walking off a boat into ruislip, we are lucky there isnt a port close by or we could have 5 teams! there is 2 weeks til londons big day out, alot of people look forward to the day! we cant compare london with kerry, it would be a far greater success story if london were to win. forget all the bull and support london for a few weeks, god knows you will all have your thoughts after the game!

There is alot of hype in London about Roscommon being so bad, if they were that bad they wouldnt be losing challenges. Do we think London will even come close, it could easily be a 10+ point hammering by Roscommon. I think London Management is basing alot of the hype on that fact that they "nearly" beat Roscommon five years ago, it could be alot different this time around.

ros have been scoring 1-12 + for most of their games this season. London have been scraping to get over 10+ points.

I cant see there being much difference in either scores come the end of the game for both sides. Basically London will need to start finding the scores from somewhere if they want to beat roscommon.

I do totally agree with you about that player..
And also about the effort of the manager to raise money..
But cannot agree with you on anything else. sounding off advice to me makes no difference what so ever when it comes to judgeing a manager/coach on his level of footballing knowledge, his coaching ability, player management, tactictal ability etc..
The possibilties way out way the achievements this year. not just in results but performance,, heart and will to win.
And all thats left is false hope..and relying on pure luck that London can beat Roscommon..
London have conceeded more than twice as much as Roscommon through the league campaign.
Again London are lucky they have Ross at home this will in affect keep the score down but will not create a miricale win..
I fear for the London boys who get drawn to in the qualifiers..
I'm sure the manager is.. .......berealistic is still very confident in his ability to turn the season around.
Mybe your sound advice is better needed there..
