i notice alot of people have duffy as a wing forward but ive heard he definitely wont be around come championship. After reading comments recently its obvious some people have a problem with Coffey. However i feel he would be a good option at wing forward?? i know he wouldnt get as many scores as duffy but seeing him play last year,he covers acres of ground, wins alot of dirty ball, dosent give the wing back time on the ball, and in my opinion merits a place in the squad at least?and before anyone jumps to conclusions im not him blowing my own trumpet im a keen follower of the GAA in london but dont play the game myself

i doubt either of the egans will be fit for the championship, one broke his arm all the way up his shoulder at training and the other one was diagnosed with gilmores groin, so he is definatley out for the rest of the season,

After much chat during the winter re players coming across and playing for London, what happened to the likes of Gary McCloskey and Gerald Pierson? And Shane Canning? I know McCloskey turned out for TCG's against Kilmurry, but don't recall any of these three playing in the League.

BALLSOFGAELIC: And maybe we should all hold hands and sing ring-a-ring-a-rosy..
Lets BEREALISTIC. Its great to see London have such loyal supporters that said, players been patted on the back for the time and commitment in the effort to be senior inter county player is handed out too easy. This is London This is an excuse. In reality more than half the squad do not meet the min of requirements in both commitment and ability.. If there was a roll attendance even kept at London training you would be shocked at how it would read, and even more shocking is the amount of top players in the squad have missed league games. How players prepare for the season ahead and take care of themselves in the off season is also questionable.
This may be London Uk but this is still senior inter county football and for London to constantly go with what ever way the tide decides to take them is not good enough in my opinion as a London supporter..
The opportunity was there for the taking this year to do something special.. the whole campaign so far is a major disappointment and that dose make me bitter
and I have problem admitting that.. To have arrived at this stage of the season where we are supposed to be happy with a loss to a very poor Carlow team, considering what London could have done in the League up untill now is a disgrace!
If all these players have been around playing club football in London and attending London training and players that have progressed from the London junior team,
How does it take three selectors not to be able to see what we all could have told them that many of these players are just not good enough..
We need a manager to come along and get 24 players that play together week in week out through the league plus the rare few that come over from Ireland that have the quality and desire to play for London but not just allow them to waltz in to the starting team. Its just an Idea!

Regardless of whether B>O>G is a disgruntled player or not, i think that this point is pretty resonable, anyone else think so?

I for 1 though, wish london the best of luck against teh rossies and i hope that they can cause a massive upset.

i see that they are playing two challenge games this month, i hope their competition are of a high standard so they get the best preperation possible.

well irish rover, in reposnse to your query no im not on the london panel, i wouldnt even be fit enough to carry the water! but as i mentioned earlier there are two lads from my club on the panel, thats how i know what i know, i just ask them! they read the hoganstand too, they say they dont contribute any posts but whether they do or not i dont know, but they say that everyone on the london panel knows who balls of gaelic is based on the content of his posts! to say that some of them are not happy about what he has been saying would be an understatement if our two lads are anything to go by! these lads have no reason to lie to me, and when they explained how they know who balls of gaelic is to me, then it all made perfect sense, he didnt even refute what i said when i unveiled him on here! so i stand by what i said and have found out, balls of gaelic is a bitter, disgruntled ex london panellist from tara....... anyone for a cup of coffee, maybe with sugar to sweeten it?!

Today is not the day for anymore smart responses and petty posts..Its a very sad day in the GAA world..
We should all just spare a taught or a prayer for Philip McGuinness and his family.

well its all very simple really, just ask any of the players on the panel, they will tell you exactly whats going on, thats all i did, the two lads were very forthcoming that i met and spoke to. i dont know why posters on here bother with spreading rumours and ridiculous opinions when its not that difficult to find out whats happening, just ask the right people! and the right person is not balls of gaelic according to the players, as i said they know exactly whats going on and seem to resent the bile he is coming out with, he has had some nasty things to say about a lot of players who dont appreciate it!

berealistic, i did so as your post suggests and the players i have spoken to from my club which is quite a few have agreed with a few of the points hes coming out with, i suppose the london camp is just like the HS with different people having different opinions, which will always be the case in anything said and done.
