Hes going to launch an assault on a GAA internet forum.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Sounds like one of those stupid episodes of south park like the one where terrorists hold up a pioneer village after robbing a burger king.

RLF will be in the Sunday World this weekend writing about how he was shafted by the lesser beings on HS ;) Such delusions of grandeur and self importance have never been so misplaced and laughable :)

The common Web name for this type of person is a 'cyber-stalker'. My company has had experience of one of these oafs and it is not pleasent - I wish you luck HS!

Usually they have all the time in the world to write insults, insert insulting/abusive links and generally make your life hell.

Has anyone done a Rolf Harris and guessed who it is yet?? Who ever it is has way too much time on their hands. Thats was nasty. I'm sure the admin team have a good laugh at some of the stuff coming through but other stuff deserves to be consigned to the dustbin.

Maybe the moderators could be more usefull by doing spell checks & correcting the grammar in some posts. Some posts even need to be translated!

Dell, you know what i mean, don't you?

That e-mail was a bit scary, he/she will probably be standing under your bedroon windows at 4.00 in the morning looking up. Anyway some people take HS a bit too seriously and get very offended far too easily. Now yesterday I believe that I had a thread to my lil ole self and I was honoured, I had a welling up as some of you people are just far too good to me. I didn't comment on the thread, complain or take offence but took ALL of the comments both positive and negative as part of the discussion on this site. Of course I annoy some people while others agree with me but I don't take the huff. The MODS on HS by and large do a grand job and we should acknowledge that. Thank you to those whose supported me on the thread yesterday while thank you also to those who ripped the **** out of me . By posting at least you shared you cared, I will send you ALL Christmas cards this year. By the way believe it or not and despite the prices I DO luuuurrrrve the 26 counties even Kerry.

Duffy89 id urge you to go on the Limerick site and look at my posts there and then tell me im not from Limerick... your giving out to me for posting on the wexford forum and accuse me of being from wexford even though i regularly post on cork, kerry, donegal, clare, dublin sites.... maybe im from all of those counties too...

Wasn't me Liam. Despite the comments yesterday I stll consider you all NORTH AND SOUTH my cyber buddies and not in a creepy stalking type of a way. Thanks for the comments Liam, at least you care. I was waiting on the resignation part coming from you but it never showed.

first of all if your referring to it wasnt you as in what I said to jinxie, of course it wasnt you! Your not from Meath! It could never have been you!!! And i wasnt sayiing it was....but hey what did i say about your paranoia ;)
And second, if you re read the thread yesterday, I think you will see whatever else i said about you, I wasnt exactly saying you were a fool or anything of the sort!

551609 I noticed that whoever penned this was a misogynist and we have had 34 posts since, and no-one else has commented on that fact.

Is sexism quite common still in Ireland as it is frowned upon certainly in the North? Maybe we are more aware of equality in the North given our recent circumstances, but I am rather shocked that no one else commented on the rampant sexism contained in the e-mail.

The basic premise in constantly referring to the administrator/s as ladies, is that women are stupid.

Such an attitude is the same as sectarianism and racism and needs to be strongly opposed.

EVERYTHING about the post is bad form, but sure you stay up there on your high horse.

Liamo,

Nope. Y dya ask that?

He was never on the national or non gaa pages that ive seen.
He was from up the county, but a relative of his lives in my town. So he quized him as to who was this Jinxie lad from our town, & his relative, a family friend of ours, unfortunatly has no concept of the net or hoganstand or what would be going on, told him who I was, just the basics, name, age, if I play football & so on. Just enough info for him to make out to everyone on the site that he was a local. But when he wasnt getting a rise he started making the posts personal referring to the family bussiness in a demeaning manner. Suppose it was easy for me or anyone from my club to cop his rants & digs, but in fairness to the Moderators or anyone from the outside, they would be sold by his "knowledge" of my & my club. Everytime he'd go to far with the insults & admin would block him or some1 would cop that he's a wum, he create another account & so on.

Dont get me wrong tho, Im not someone who's looking for anyone saying a bad word about me(as a poster), my club or county stopped. Far from it, everyone is entitled to their voice, thats the idea of the forum. Im well able to take valid criticism about anything & will admit to have been wrong before & will admit that when a poster questions me on it. This instance however was very different & was blatent lies & defamatory comments & one a cuple of occasions posted my name, (which id have no problem with in general terms, Ive nothing to hide, just not when its accosiated with lies) & other sneering remarks regarding me personally.
