Is there not a way of blocking his IP address or something to stop multiple log ins from the one computer. Although I guess this would expose me and Dell as being one and the same so maybe it's not the best idea

Whoever it is, they have no great love for Meath or Meath people. So LoyaltotheRoyal is safe there....

Looks like Ralf. Especially the political references & of course the anti Meath bias too.

Could squid be one of the multiple users along with iniskeenbull?

Anyone remember the way it used to be years ago with the first message board where the persons IP address was shown above their post. That'd help identify some of the multiple users....

Ha, multiple user names is one of the saddest things around, people need to back themselves up to feel good.

Also people making up facts about themselves, where they are from etc, gets to me, and we all know it goes on. Just shows theyre not proud of who they are/ where they are from.

It is very frustrating at times though when your post doesn't come up for no reason at all, sometimes it makes you think the mod just didn't like your point of view.

Im relatively concerned as to why a message that HS was sent in private is now on the Internet.

why would you bother posting under different user names?

if the poster is so disillusioned why dont they just sack HS altogether. pretty pathetic.

anybody care to sepeculate who it is?

I saw that before Duffy 89, you'd have to wonder about his "inside sources"

551411 Im relatively concerned as to why a message that HS was sent in private is now on the Internet.

In fairness theres no private info from the sender displayed, & it was directed at HS in general, not one particuler Mod.

If somebody is that abusive & rude to people who are offering a service like this for FREE, then do they deserve to be protected?

Do you think he doesn't get out much and shares his home with loads of cats??

Get a life I think! Although it would be interesting to find out what awful crime he committed???

It cracks me up that this person thinks they are the most valuable and intelligent poster. How does one judge either field?

Breffni39: i like to think i could have a decent discussion with ya about Ulster football. I don't hold the same petty prejudices and grudges that some do.

Definate issues there. Napoleon complex and anger management problems. The video link was a bit crass as well.

I fail to share this concern. The author was willing to write this & did not ask for it to be marked as private. If Admin want to post it here they are fully entitled to. I've had messages blocked here, I've asked the admins why but its no big deal. After all this messageboard is free and is a great forum for idea & opinion to be swapped.

Fair play to the administrators for running this board.

Admin, i don't agree with your reasons for printing it as it was sent to you and hardly intended for general consumption. Maybe it was just to show the kind of messages you get !! It may have been a better option to just ignore it. On my own behalf i would like to state that i have been annoyed many times by the Admins failure/refusal to post many of the comments i made so i can empathise with this posters feelings but not his tone !!

I'm sure you could Tongo, but most people would find it pretty hard to to just call it as they see it as there is so much negative stuff posted on a daily basis, the stereotype would just wear you down into accepting the fact that every county in Ulster plays the exact same puke football and all the GAA's ills are directly rooted in Ulster GAA. That seems to be the accepted wisdom on here. A delusion about Ulster football is ingrained in many GAA fans from childhood. I'll stop now as I'll end up sounding like Ulsterman and my point will be lost!!!

I see your point,,,, but but but. Reading that diatribe was tedious, can you imagine having to read all the garbage that goes on here not to mind the stuff that cant be put up, mine especially. Its pretty obvious that some stuff is not posted merely because the Admin on duty is not familiar with the content. I had to explain that the word Ballypickas was in fact the name of a GAA club and not a derogatory term for Delboyl

Another thing that happens from time to time is posters who also frequent other sites coming out with the brave words like 'finished with Hogan Stand, useless, too many clowns writing' etc (and using a different name of course).
And yet five minutes later we have them on Hogan Stand (all sugar and spice).
By the way Jinxie that neighbour of yours is blocked.
Regards Liam's letter-- we have encouraged all to get involved over the last 10 years.
But it is very hard to monitor and reply to queries if required on 37 individual sites and moreso to keep every writer happy. And Cavan_Slasher, I don't think we have blocked many of your posts(one of our top writers) but each day we do receive a number of rubbish letters which we obviously throw into the bin.
Horse, no Kennelly Airways has a different I.P. address.
Squid and Ralf are two different people.

I noticed that whoever penned this was a misogynist and we have had 34 posts since, and no-one else has commented on that fact.

Is sexism quite common still in Ireland as it is frowned upon certainly in the North? Maybe we are more aware of equality in the North given our recent circumstances, but I am rather shocked that no one else commented on the rampant sexism contained in the e-mail.

The basic premise in constantly referring to the administrator/s as ladies, is that women are stupid.

Such an attitude is the same as sectarianism and racism and needs to be strongly opposed.
