Shocked and appalled
And people have the nerve to slag off Dublin fans not travelling to away matches - sure why would you bother when the opposition don't show the tie any respect!!

Will you stop, teams can play whatever team they want. as All Ireland champons the players deserve a break. I'd have no bother if Kilkenny players came back in mid to late March, i'd still travel to all the league games.

Look, all joking aside, what are the GAA playing at? I mean, if they want to make the league a proper competition they should make the counties want to participate. Lets be honest, the league has never been a big thing, you'd get the odd game that would be a real hum dinger of a game like Dublin vs Tyrone last year or the Dublin vs Mayo game in 05. There is a huge audience there who are chomping at the bit to see their intercounty stars line out again. If the GAA want to make some real money out of the league or give the league some real purpose, then they should be giving counties an incentive to do so.
Kerry could lose the first 2 or 3 games (I know, very unlikely) and still not get relegated thus showing that their holiday right now is completely irrelevant
I dunno, what do the rest of yis think?

Dublin should be ashamed of themselves, the following is the team that they are putting out.....

Stephen Cluxton, Ross O'Carroll, Rory O'Carroll, Philly McMahon, Paul Griffin, Cian O'Sullivan, James McCarthy, Eamon Fennell, Ross McConnell, Alan Hubbard, Michael Darragh MacAuley, Paul Flynn, David Henry, Blaine Kelly, Kevin McManamon

Lack of respect hown to the league naming a team such as the above........ ha!

Both counties are playing different teams from last years quarter final....either way both counties need to try new players albeit for different reasons. I will be down there anyway- look forward to seeing some new legs

Rory was fairly easily beaten in the Leinster semi against W'meath as well. Its Ross I'd be hoping to flourish at full back.
I'll be travelling down for the game, can't say I'm overly enthusiastic about it now.

What is this rubbish about the boys needing a break, they weren't allowed train for two months at the end of the year would this not have been the time to take a holiday.

Kilkenny won the hurling All - Ireland last September for the 4th yr. in a row.3 or so week's after this game Ballyhale Shamrock's won the Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship.Early December they won the Leinster Senior Championship.2 week's ago Ballyhale played Wexford Senior's (and won).So tell me this 09KY36,where's the Ballyhale player's break ?,or does it not count because it's a club ?
