Lancashire Season 2010

I think you protest to much Soprano, you've got to remember Greenbank is hardly Anfield, there was a few players there from other clubs and I saw them and I also know who you are.

You weren't at the match, you are lying.

Regarding experience, we are a relatively new team put together in the last year, Mitchells have been around for the last 4 years and have that experience of closing out and winning games in that time.

alright girls put ure handbags away and calm down! do we really care about the identities of soprano, red hand, take ure points etc, the contributions they make are one sided verbal diarhoea.
this is the gospel according to horsebox- mitchels for the championship, oisins and anns to amalgamate next year, mitchells out of the all britain at the first hurdle, brendans to stay at the same level of performance for next year, lancashire to be beaten by london in the all britain and casey to win X factor.
place ure bets now, thats the future, mistic meg told me!

Peter's to win the Championship this year. I see an all Britain in them also. Mitchell's will always be a threat but I think the legs are begging to go. It will be close but I will go for Peter's by 2pts.

Well done to St Peter's on a deserved victory at Old Bedian's today. After an even first half they gradually took control of the game and were comfortable winners in the end. JM seemed to lack the spark we have seen in recent years, now good luck to St Peter's in the All Britain, lets see how far you can go?

JM have been excellent Lancashire Champions over the last 3 years, but the run could not go on for ever.

well deserved victory for peters yesterday goals came at the perfect time, sad to see the mitchells lad sent off but totally justified for the striking with the boot and what followed, a very open all britain ahead, connollys with a very easy draw will it stand them in good stead or will whoever comes through the other half of the draw benefit from good hard games

Congrats to Peters yesterday - good second half performance with the goals proving the difference. Go on and give the AB a go now lads but it will be hard.

The Scottish lads are tough customers and will be favs for the AB - Bring the title back to Lancashire.

With regards to John Mitchels - its time to take a break, take stock and rebuild. They will be back next year ready to take all before them again ive got to doubt about that!!

ne thoughts on the league semis at the weekend? no major shock with the peters oisins game even with peters putting out most of their junior team but big shock with brendans beating mitchells, looks like the end of an era for the mitchells lads, brendans must have got their act together at last but not sure what sort of team mitchells put out.
ne big signings being made for next yr? have heard on the grapevine that the big lad coyne from anns is transferring to peters, must want to share in the glory but u cant really blame him either. peters have signed 2 galway minors also, looks like more peters dominance for next yr.

so what kind of a team did Peters put out again Oisins, they said they would put out the junior side and give the seniors a rest?

hot choc- i got my info from an insider in the peters camp, they signed a load of uni players, offering out free jersey! peters should work more on their practically non existant underage set up and never mind all these blow ins that do nothing for the local club/community scene! brendans are at the same carryon, offering jobs etc to every tom dick and harry that gets off the boat! there should be a rule that every team has to have a certain number of english born players in their first 13/15 otherwise the game over here is not going to develop properly!

peters are meant to have had a pretty poor team out, i know they wouldnt want to risk injuries before the all britain game but surely match practice would serve them well even though oisins wouldnt be able to give them much of a workout.

mitchells are a spent force, they served the county well in the all britain and all ireland but the legs have gone and in fighting in the camp hasnt helped matters.

Horsebox- from what I hear Peters had better be signing new players due to the amount that they're losing for next year. Half their starting forward line for a start.
Is it true that their CHF didn't turn up for the all Britain 1/4QF despite having his flight from Ireland paid for? All not well in the Peters camp????

JM will be back next year!!!! Although only having 12 players for the game against Brendans on Sunday must be a concern.

I presume you mean Meaney? Was wondering why he wasn't playing, didn't think he was a hurler!

Not sure Peters are losing to many, heard that Donal Gallagher has gone home to study? They'll get there fair share of new recruits they always do.

Mitchells will be back, they need new players though, they've got a bit stale, that hunger isn't there anymore. Still got a lot of talent though

Trust me lads, there have no galways minors signed OR no free jersys handed out at Peters. Thats just typical of the kinda tripe ya get nobodys saying on this forum.

There is more chance of them signing me. Peters is my fist choice club if they will have me.

Hot Chaclate sounds a bit bitter

Lads I can say for sure that Peters were not handing out any free jerseys or anything like that to attract new players, I can also assure that Peter's have not signed any students and there is no new additions to the Peters Squad in the last month...... on another note where do people get this nonsense out of? Come on handing out free jerseys I have heard some silly rumors on this board but that is almost as bad as Oisin having the Marine guy training them at the start of the year.

As for 4 boys missing for the All Britian Quarter final, this is true, 2 lads were playing hurley, one lad got injured and the other did have issues with his flight, issues that I hear were beyond his control, but whatever makes people happy to start a fight in their own head when there is not one at all.

Furthermore why aren't these so called GAA fans not supporting their lancs counterparts and hoping that Peters can bring back the All Britian? Would it not be benefical for all the clubs if these boys could get a good run in the All Ireland series? Or is it a case that boys like Hot Choc do not even attend their own home games with thier club and decide that these boards are where they should get to air their views however full of hot air they air.

Just a few thoughts

I wish peters all the best. . They need to improve on recent performances (mitchels aside) if they are to progress though.

I'll be very honest, I hope Peters get stuffed.

Peters are our biggest rivals so there is no way I want you to win an All Brittain!!

But you've had a great season and have deserved all the success you've achieved.

Take_Yer_Points Ill be honest I have not seen one Peter's game this year but when I was with the Club in the last few years I always wanted to see any Lancs team do well be it Brendans or Mitchels or any other team.........

Thats Brendans all over....
Bitter and jealous.
All the best to Peters, Im ex Oisins and I know from my old mates there they will hopin the best for Peters as I will, they did the same for us a few years back on our All Britain run. A few came to our games.
Its been many a long year since Brendans were capable of this, only Peters, Oisins and Mitchels have came close or done it in the recent past.
A League or wolfetone nobody cares about are light years from a Championship.

Good luck Peters, fingers crossed from back home...

Only been honest unlike a few on here.

Soprano-you're just a compulsive liar so do one. You're just using this as an excuse to get at Brendans as usual

Nothing to do with jealousy, its rivalry. They've fully deserved their success, they've been the best team all year.

Its all very fake people pretending to wish you well from other clubs, what a load of nonsense.
