Im almost sure there were more than 5 players allowed from each club if previously agreed.

Bogue and Murray should be on it. Bogue was v good at trials and got over looked, disapointing

yes it stated on the website that if a club wished to send more than 5 players to the trials they must have made prior arrangements with the management team. Antrim minors panel of 40 will get their first run out of the season this sunday against st louis ballymena in a challenge game at ahoghill. also 4 players on the county panel who play for st louis will be looked at

8 lamh dhearg players was a bit excessive when in my eyes only 2 or 3 showed on the trial days , i think that the players should be looked at before the club they player for is , not the opposite

re Antrimlegend

Last year and the year before. And still have players playing this year that where playing in two years ago in their team. Id like to know how many of the players on the panel where brought through lamh deargs underage system?

The reason Lamh Dhearg are considered the best team in the county is because they won the Championship 2 years ago at U16 with the same group of players who will be minor this year. The fact that Creggan have won 2 in a row is irrelevant as many of those squads will now be U21

legend14, you cant go by "2 years ago", minor is a completly different story as everyone very well knows

the stig is right legend 14 as i believe in 2007 the rossa minor team that won the minor championship were contesting division 2 u-16 league with the same team. a lot can change in two years, players and teams all develop at different ages. I still belive that LD will be hot favourites.

It's hard to predict who will win it, come may/june time anything can happen, there will surely be a good few upsets, the league means little or nothing when it comes to Championship, love it.

the bit about rossa is not true, they won the u16 divsion one south antrim league in 2007 and got beat by a point by loughguile in the all county final

theres far to many young players on this squad without any henrys. The foregone conclusion in this championship is that tyrone walk all over your minor team. Im a rosscommon man myself living in belfast supporting safforns in any game but this time the team just isnt right. In my mind theres a major reshuffle needed! Auzrie abu

linsey went to one trail.. thats not good enough.. he could have fluked it!! the process of the selection was really poor, there should have been more than two trails for heavens sake. auzrieeeeeeeeeeeeeee for championship! We've got cj!

there have been 2 creggan boys drafted in already, first meeting after the trials and 2 fellas who never attended trials walk in, hardly fair on fellas who trialled and may loose places to them.
