mayogodhelpus, all jokes aside...the whole someone forgetting about matches being played is very much a reality already...I kid you not, in the intermediate league the fixtures guy does not know how many games have been played, won lost etc... You can only laugh at this stage!

Reading through this thread over the course of the year (and last) it appears that the same mistakes are being made year on year in Warks, why don't some of the posters on here try and get on the board to influence the change that is needed? There are some great ideas floating around regarding the re-jigging of competitions and leagues and no one will listen unless you can get on the board and get the point across!!!

Bald Eagle......It should not take a change of county board members to realise that when the clocks go back it's dark at 16:00. This fixure sec has put our cup final on sundy for a 15:30 throw in

It's an out and out joke!!!!!!! What does this guy think he is doing?????

Burdo, have you not heard the latest changes to Gaelic football... New ball that glows in the dark, each player has a wear a miners hat now too, you have to carry a spare set of batteries down your socks incase your tourch runs out...

Burdo - I hadn't noticed the timing of that fixture at first but by God what a stupid time to fix a game for alright!!! I was mainly talking about the Intermediate and Junior leagues you have there and the lack of fixtures played in them again.

Im guessing one match will be played, 2 time changes, and one match already played.

Well out the 4 games scheduled in PNH yesterday only one took place, 2 hurling games called off and the game between Brendans and Mitchells in the Inter League was not played as it appears the fixture had already taken place earlier in the season!!?! ..........think some of the previous predictions on here were very close regarding number of games being played and the reasons why not!

just want to say i was at the all britain final yesterday and never felt as disappointed by the macs team. Macs disgraced themselves and were well beaten by a thoroughly better side in st. peters. macs need to take a long hard look at themselves for the disgraceful tactics they played and for the abuse given to the opposition players from not only the players but also the mentors and supporters too. they were lucky to have only one man sent off............absolute disgrace of a team and delighted they lost!! the score was 3-12 to 2-4. never turned up to play football so they cant be disappointed

I hear that Macs tryed to win the game with punches!!
Get real. You might be able to do that in Warwickshire but not in an All Britain final.
Good on ya St Peters!! Mictheals would have put up a better game!! lol

wonder how many boys be looking to transfer to the barnabus next year. spent the saturday in the grey friars up there and the steward behind the bar was telling me they're looking at having proper physios at all training and matches and massages and looking after the lads in a more professional environment. some of the plans sounded very impressive, facilities etc. must say very good for warwickshire and hopefully a few more may follow suit.
