If Macs have nothing to hide, they wont mind EGB objecting. As a previous poster has said, it would not be the first time they have tried to pull the wool over people's eyes Lethal (Derry) - Posts: 281 - 20/07/2010 17:01:59 716470 Link 0 |
It's up to EGB if they really have the conviction that Macs played outside the rules. If they don't object thats their business. The same applies to the rest who then go on to play Macs. The only way it will be proved/disproved is by an official objection. I haven't heard of one so far so I'd imagine its all just smokescreen again. thesilentone (UK) - Posts: 146 - 20/07/2010 17:33:34 716528 Link 0 |

Kevin Brady was on the Galway panel and signed for Tuam Stars, that didn't stop you with him! Mick83 (Wicklow) - Posts: 67 - 20/07/2010 17:42:02 716559 Link 0 |
It wouldnt be the first time macs have bent the rules alright, a certain galwayman a few years back springs to mind nevermind the rest. FootballCrazy09 (UK) - Posts: 9 - 20/07/2010 17:49:36 716573 Link 0 |
what is it with everyone on here, i think a lot of you thought Macs wouldnt come out of their group when the draw was made now that they have some people are going on about players transfers and talking a load of nonsense. All transfers are in and are correct, so stop your whinging and get on with playing football. moonshine (UK) - Posts: 297 - 20/07/2010 17:54:36 716582 Link 0 |
FootballCrazy09, any chance you could enlighten me on which club you won your c`ship medals with. Because in the last 14 years in Warwickshire Macs have won 11 c`ships, RC have won 2, and St.Brendans have won the other one. moonshine (UK) - Posts: 297 - 20/07/2010 18:00:33 716592 Link 0 |

A lot of jealousy in this county it seems against macs, but their results tell their own story. And as for footballcrazy you should think before you spout your nonsense on here, too many conspiracy theories from beaten teams. harry_gaa (UK) - Posts: 5 - 20/07/2010 18:11:40 716625 Link 0 |
When i moved from home a long while ago the standard in this county was good, its absolutely appauling now so i dont see how i can be jealous what so ever? FootballCrazy09 (UK) - Posts: 9 - 20/07/2010 18:17:52 716633 Link 0 |
FootballCrazy09, no ringers at all, what is the problem with Macs signing new players when they become available, every other club in the county has new players on board this year, yet i dont hear anything about them. moonshine (UK) - Posts: 297 - 20/07/2010 18:20:26 716636 Link 0 |
Sorry Moonshine, you may be in the clear this time but your club has a history of doing this kind of thing hence the suspicion of foul play. Lethal (Derry) - Posts: 281 - 20/07/2010 18:24:20 716644 Link 0 |
i would agree that the standard of football in the county has deteriorated rapidly over the last decade or so, the fact that macs have dominated this period would give evidence to this decline in footballing prowess, with most senior teams being on a par with intermediate teams from the rest of the country as shown by the frequent hammerings at provincial level. harry_gaa (UK) - Posts: 5 - 20/07/2010 18:28:03 716650 Link 0 |
moonshine - not bothered who we play - just wondering if it is likely to be any time soon if an objection has been lodged! tommy g (None) - Posts: 171 - 21/07/2010 08:40:11 717036 Link 0 |

Does anybody have any ideas on the league standings for inter & senior at the moment , and also will the inter champ winners this year go up to senior next year , i would think that Marys would be pretty keen to join the senior ranks next year , i believe they have only played 1 league fixture all year. knowle (Roscommon) - Posts: 82 - 23/07/2010 12:37:00 720354 Link 0 |
