By the scoreline obviously masters were never in it with RC
And yesterdays game needed stronger officials, weak refereeing has cost EGB a chance at silverware this year!!
Macs men again lashing out and spitting there dummies out when things wern't going there way
Hopefully JM go on now and win it, they're looking the strongest out of last 4!!
Should be interesting...

A very apt second part to your name footballCRAZY! If you believe Mitchells are the strongest team in the competition then you are deluded. There is nothing to suggest Michells are strongest in all of the outings they had so far this year. A comfortable win against FM is nothing to be optimistic about as Casements well know from yesterday.

On the game yesterday, the scoreline didn't flatter at all, from start to finish Casements were in control.

Macs are cheats. Mitchells will win it this year no doubt

On yesterdays game EGB should have been out of sight at half time, gave Macs great hope going in a point down at half time against the wind. EGB midfield totally dominant against their Macs counterparts just could not convert scoring chances looked to be trying to kick scores from 50 metres instead of working the ball in for their inside forward line. Macs goals came at the right times for them.

As for the sending off the referee was 100% correct, Macs lad threw an elbow back although the reaction of the EGB fella was something more associated with the Premier league.

Macs looked to have added a couple of new lads from the Barnabas game, although Mulligan was struggled against the EGB midfielders.

agreed Lethal - EGB should been out of sight and theres no doubt they have the classier footballers and classier people in their club. sound bunch of lads who want to play football how it should be played. Macs like to bring teams down to their level. some of the abuse directed at the referee yesterday was disgusting, people on the sideline were worse. the ref is a very honest and good ref only trying to do his best and did a very good job in the circumstances. if it wasnt for people like him there would be no games to play so how people can abuse him in this manner and expect to get away with it is beyond me. there should be fines and suspensions for anyone who carries on in this manner. no respect for the game.

If you throw an elbow back which the player did, you can expect to get sent off. Its the intent that a referee can send someone off for, contact is irrelevant. Macs had no case to argue on the sending off. Thought the referee awarded them several cheap frees in the 2nd half so dont know why they were so critical of him anyway.

Thesilentone take a hint from your name and stay silent cause all you do is spout utter nonsense
The referee he wasnt strong enough or in control of the game for my liking he seemed to bottle the big decisions but thats typical from the standard of refereeing in the county, as for the intermidiate game between finbars and JM the scenes at the final whistle made my blood boil the abuse the ref got was absolutely shocking and thugish it reminded me of a certain lienster senior football final only a short while ago.

Which part is nonesense, I doubt anyone else than a Mitchel's player would back you's to win the Championship this year, as I said you've not shown any form which suggests otherwise, I will wait for you to prove me wrong.

As for the Inter Champ, no ref should go through the barrage he did, regardless of his performance. The Mitchels lad was rightly sent off for 'thugish' boot, another deserved to go for the punch into the Finbar's lad, who when he retaliated by shoving the Mitchels lad was then sent off. Controversy all over this game, Mitchels scored the goal with the last kick. Again though the ref is there out of his own time supporting our game, this should not be tolerated and I hope he includes this in his report.

you say JM havent showed form? They've won both of there qualifying games, is that not form?

but i agree about the ref situation that has arisen, who in there god given right would put themselves through that on a sunday?
I bet the poor fellas 50+ and to feel physically threatend doing something he enjoys and to keep the game going in warickshire, there would be no gaa if it wasnt for the refs, there would be no clubs, no drinking after the games, no family like spirit in the community, no training, no irish connection and when lads come over for work they have no club to join and no like for like mates its an absolute disgrace!!
Alright the standard of reffing isnt great but the standard of gaa in britian isnt any better either, the lads need to put up and shut up and get on with playing the game and getting the lads through and the fresh faces in. Are we all agreed now that to lay of the refs back and get on as a gaa community in warickshire???

Until people are punished appropriately for their actions, unfortunately this will continue. The behaviour of some individuals yesterday during and after both games yesterday was a disgrace. Referees should name people in their reports and the board should act upon the referees report. Doubt this will happen though, there was a riot at an U16 game last year and the clubs are still waiting for the outcome of the so-called 'investigation'.

So what happened in the Finbars v Mitchells game then at Inter? Sounds like it was some ending, more importantly, who won??

Mitchells with a last minute goal, looked like finbars were robbed.
And the under16 saga is another disgrace, this look for a report into an investgation as serious as minors being struck by adults and racism?
The book should be through at the lot of them

I was at the Mac v EGB match yesterday. Not a bad game. I thought EGB should have had Mac put out of sight by half time, but cudnt take their scores.
I think the EGB keeper was shakey for both goals, but EGB could have still beat them.
I think the Ref was right to send Bennet off. He lifted his elbow and the intent was there. However, Bradley did make a bit of a meal of it.
Has Macs midfielder (Mulligan) actually signed for them???
I dont think so!! And they had the cheek to call EGB / Bradley and the Ref cheats!!! hahaha, thats Macs for ya!!!

If he hasn't signed then its a sad day for a macs man.
They must be starting to worry about losing there dominate force in warwickshire by cheating, not the first time they've cheated though is it!

To be honest, i dont think he made too much difference to the Macs yesterday. Kicked a nice free in the 2nd half but was dominated by the EGB midfielders. His transfer is not on the GAA website, so there must be some kind of issue. There were a few unfamiliar faces there yesterday

Macs and Barnabas final I think. You'd have to fancy Macs for 5 now.

bishopbrennan , i think mitchels will have to much for barnabas .
barnabas just come up from inter , having an easy run in the league and couldnt put macs away in the championship when they had the chance, they rely to much on a few players , most of them are good inter players at best
