Up at the pairc last night and mitchels looked a different class from what they were against Casements last week. Casements wont have it easy if Mitchels perform like that next week. barnabas looked extremely poor

So how many side were unable to field on Sunday due to the england soccer match? I heard that Chads and Mitchells didn't turn up at the last minute with the Mary's and Leicester lads all waiting around! The throw in times had been changed in both matches to accomodate the lads to travel in but again it proves the point that the birmingham sides just don't leave Birmingham! Why are all other teams slaughtered for not coming in when there's nothing said when its the other way round!

Is this another case of all the Brummies protecting each other and pushing the problems with the setup in warickshire under the carpet! See no evil, hear no evil!!!

We (Mary's) we told Friday night that Chads were not going to travel to Wolves. We have been training since end of Jan, it's now July and we have only played 1 match this season.................What a JOKE, I am sick of it.

Fox15 - Firstly I am not a brummie and secondly if you wanted a debate on it don't leave it til 4 days later when the first round of the senior champ is on on Sunday so I would rather concentrate on that than looking back.

I've always said courtesy is missing from a lot of clubs in this county, a phone call is not a hard task.

Moving on though....has anyone predictions for the weekend?

EGB by 6 I would imagine, even with Joe McDermott suspended.

Why not join masters. A few of your lads were a good addition to their side a while back. You will get to play more regular football and help improve a struggling team.

I could never leave Mary's. Coventry is not exactly down the road, and with a bit luck we will be playing Senior next year, sure at this rate we will win the leage with walk overs!!!!!!

Lethal, what brings you to those decisions? Both sets of teams played each other less than a fortnight ago and nothing from those 2 games suggests other than a Casements and EGB win, even with EGB playing with 14 men. Add the home advantage to this and surely this cements the decision?

Definately agree with you there silentone. I know I said this before but I really believe with EGB playing at perhaps 60% of capability they will have enough for what is a poorish Barnabus side. I dont think home advantage is that much, them boys are used to playing in Birmingham and it aint exactly Old Trafford!

Barnabas have not been playing their full strength team in that competition. They also beat EGB in Notts by 8 points earlier in the year. I fancy Barnabas to cause a shock, as we all know EGB dont perform in the championship

Should be two good games.

Lethal, how do you know what team they been playing? Are you an insider! Who have they been missing in that case?

intheno,

Are you a Barnabas man trying to play down your chances??
They have beat Macs and EGB this year so the form leading up to the game is impressive.

i think we could be in for two very tight games this weekend.
I fancy go bragh just to shade it as they seem to play well on their own pitch the large pitch suits their style of play. I would say only a point or two in it.
Think casements and mitchels will also be close and could be a draw - take no notice of the league game the other week as mitchels were missing 7/8 players.
I would say this could be tightest championship for a few years - should be a good 3 weeks o football
