Congrats to Macs under 12's on their All britain win , i watched the final and they have some right handy players , quite clear to see that they work hard with the youngsters and deserve all credit for doing so.
Fantstic day out for all the kids involved really well organised.

Fair play to Macs on their win, what is it that they are doing so well?? And are the other clubs far off??

Very quiet on here today. I take it the county team lost?

Intelinside - When else does it go quiet on here? Obviously these County " superstars " and i use that term very loosely, wether it they were the ones playing or if it was made up of scraps lost by a point to Hertfordshire. All this talk of the county team really brings it home that either the selection panel needs an update, much like certain members of the county board might i add, or they're just not as good as everyone seems to think!

Anyone know what the team was?

That is a disgrace of a loss.

mackattack - I wouldn't think it was fair to slag off the lads that have turned out for the county team this year, or indeed any year. Simple fact of the matter is that these are the guys that have bothered to turn up and represent their county on the day. In fact i would go as far as saying that these 'superstars' you were talking about, were in fact all sitting at home not too bothered about the county team on sunday!!!

I do agree 100% with you that the selection panel along with the county board requires updating. The current manager i will say has done all he can this year and last, but would say he requires at least another 2, possible 3 selectors to be brought on board. (At the very least this may help get lads out from certain clubs that may not be bothered normally... Trial matches on a thursday evening have proven over the last two years to be a waste of time. Proper training nights need to happen well in advance of the championship. As for the county board.......i've lost the will!!!

anyone who interested in warwickshire footballers outside the team were in st albans on sunday, that said there are more on here complaining about them.
Yes there were many players missing, but there were still twenty one attended. every man that pulled on that jersey against an exceptionally strong hartfordshire side on sunday played their hearts out and their clubs should be proud of them not critisising their effort.
After being behind for the most part of the game they scored a great goal to bring them within a point, and went on to score the next four points unanswered for a three point lead.
This was partly due to the opposition been reduced to thirteen following two red cards. hartfordshire threw every thing at them, with one min remaining warwickshire broke up another attack and were awarded a free out from twenty mtr. line unfortunatly eamoinn hanlon kicked the ball straight to an opposition forward who kicked the ball straight in, bounced off the goal keeper to a man standing almost on the goal line, the umpires disallowed it for a square ball but were over ruled by the ref.
From the kick out heartfordshire won possesion and scored a point from outside the fortyfive which was the last kick of the game.
I have no doubt that if these players played together regularly the would be a force in football.
Outside the mistake eamoinn hanlon made, his workrate and support play were first class,
show me a player who hasn't made a mistake and i'll get you a leprecaun.
Well done to all the players.

M Grace Midfield?

The 2 haydens in there would make a big difference.

There are numerous players who would have made a difference to that team, but for whatever reason did not turn up. Fair play to the lads that did go, always better to have lads who actually care.

Who were the subs? Forwards and Backs look solid enough although the Midfield looks a bit weak.
Did no one from Casements turn up? Also a shame a few of the bigger names from EGB didn't tog out but fair play to the lads who did turn up.

any score from JM & RC game last nite ??? Heard EGB beat Barnabus by 2 points in Mick Sugrue cup, even though playing with 14 men after J. McDermott was sent off.
