blu County: Down Posts: 467 542517 Also you should read the rule book as if you attempt or strike any player it is straight red so before you come out with anymore rubbish get the rule book. And to the rest of yous all yous do is attack. All 28 players should banned .

542660 You would do anything to stir it up, it was all over the papers. You dont need to have an inquest on day one and as some of the lads have said it appers there were no cameras at the game.
My question is how can you have seen the papers when you spend all your time here

There was cameras there but they will not be used because it is 2 teams from outside ulster .

Dell, if they are so Anti-Tyrone please explain this for me: Westmeath v Tyrone 08, a tyrone player, got 2 Westmeath players sent off by feigning injury. The Westmeath players duely got suspended & your player got to continue playing & won an All Ireland. If the GAA are so anti Ulster why was your man not banned for his disgracefull behaviour? Before you accuse me of being Anti-Tyrone, I am not. I have a lot of respect for what the players & Harte have achieved but was disgusted by that incident.

Maybe like your fellow down man you should get a rule book as striking or attemping to strike is a sending off and contributing in a melee.

Dellboy,

Still no names I see..........

And your initial post is relating to your anti Leinster bias, so why are you bringing cork & kerry into it!

NO Meath players got their supspensions cut! Tyrone players got away scot free after using a loop hole, so you point is invalid!
The same day the Meath got their suspensions from Armagh were involved in a 30 man brawl, yet not one Armagh player was suspended. Explain that one dell!

Im looking forward to seeing these names from you Dell, or am I insulting you by asking you to back up your bias comments?

Paddyogall could be right.

Dell titled this thread "Incidents in Leinster" and then in his penultimate post references incidents involving Cork and Kerry players to strengthen his argument. When he mentions Tommy Freeman, he conviently "forgets" all about Fergal Doherty and the Mullan lad. He has dreamt up a Meath Dublin game where a row breaks out between the two teams, players are sent off but on appeal no player recieves any suspension.

When decoded, the majority of Dell's posts are full of inaccuracies and half-truths. Now either he is the greatest WUM to ever this grace forum or else he likes to keep his brain in prestine condition. I honestly don't which is the truth.

Dell, Aside from your attempts in the previous post about suspenions, do you feel you have helped your case as a referee? You are hoping to land yourself a first SFC game to ref in Meath this year, youve made no secret of that. But you have just made a very serious claim about a Senior team in Meath attacking referees! There has been absolutly no evidence of this happening ever! So I dont see how you could be considered inpartial or without a conflict of interest, when refereeing a game involve said club, or even any club in their group, or indeed any competition or grade they are in. Surely if you have such a grudge with a club, for no apparent reason, then it must be of concern to the Co Board as to wether or not you are in a position to referee games within the county. Its rather unusual for a referee to public insult a club a make comments that insinuate wrong doings by a club which cannot be proven. You have made 2 wrong allegations about a club on the National page and another on the county page. Do you feel that as a referee you are entitled to wrongly accuse clubs like that?

Indeed, this thread can now be considered a 'wind up' attempt.

It serves no purpose apart from antagonise Leinster people, which it seems to haves failed to do.

Any valid points arguing that the original point was inaccurate appears have been ignored or distorted by the Original Poster, which is why the reason I have come to this conclusion.

Because Meath played no games for 6 weeks after the Dublin game. Simple as that Dell. The still got their suspnsions.
I supose the fixture commitee are against ye too.
How about the Tyrone players after the brawl in Omagh, & the Armagh player after the melee in 08. Not one single player got any suspensions. Explain that one dell!

I agree with delboy on ONE point. Compared to the aftermath of the battle of Omagh , there has been nothing in the way of an outcry from the print and broadcast media. It has been covered but not to anywhere near the same extent.

V carlow just to back it up MEATH: M Ahern; C O'Connor, D Fay, C McGill; E Harrington, K Reilly, C King; B Meade, M Ward; A Nestor, C Ward, P Byrne; S Bray (capt), J Sheridan, G Geraghty.

So there you are jinxie set upso they would not miss games where ricey missed 4.

How was it set up dell? They never struck a player, so deserved no more than a month. They got their suspensions & took it. But I see you havent a reason why the tyrone players didnt take theirs after their behaviour in Omagh or why no Armagh player was punished after the melee in 08?

In fairness though the GAA does seem fairly inconsistent when it comes to discipline!

Jinxie The system on bans where changed after omagh with loop holes used however explain to me how would you not accept your bans if you missed no games . Example for you ricey got a monthy meaning he would only miss 1 game then the same CCC that looked after your county and many others uppped his suspension to 6 weeks to miss 4 games . TV by trial was never used till they started it on tyrone disgrace . And also you said those players where never involved ,your wrong i seen certain Meath players on video throwing punches .

Dell, video was used in 96 to deal out the suspensions to Meath & Mayo players!
